You can get it here:
In iTunes, go into the Advanced menu and select Subscribe to Podcast. A box will come up asking for the URL. Paste “feed://legendspodcast.libsyn.com/rss” into that box and you should be good to go.
Thank you, I did not wanted to highjack the forum for my own personal reason but, now I’ll do a plug or 2.
I also refer to GWC a lot since it’s a big part of my life now and can’t stop myself to talk about the awesomeness that the crüe brings every weeks.
We started to thanks some of our listeners every week ( starting next week. I record in advance for lack of disponibility with my different co-host) and up to that point they are all GWCer
One important notice, we are not as kind as GWC is. We can be harsh on some movies as well as reverential. Try to watch Galaxy Quest with a non-trekker and you get another pt of view really fast ;).
If ANYBODY as trouble with anything, ranging from download to content just hit me at legends.podcast@hotmail.com and it will be more than my pleasure to help or review what the problem is.
On Itunes search for ‘‘Legends Podcast’’ and refer to the green cheap logo saying Legends an Action Movie Podcast, we just change the name and I did not have time to change the logo yet hoping for better graphic ( I don’t have a Sean on hand so Paint as to do the trick ) with the name John D. and Frank or John D. and Gen. I just verify and it came up right away. I’m also suppose to be on Podcast Pickle and as Gryper mention or website legendspodcast.libsyn.com.
John D. is one of many names I use since I have other friends called Dominic and none called John, it stand for John Dominic, Frank my co-host actually started calling me like that during a D&D/StarWars game and after 2 years it stuck.
Again, Thank you Gryper for not kicking me out GWCville, I’m not sure I would survive out there

If you type it into iTunes as “legendspodcast” (all one word) it comes right up.
You guys are off to a great start. I think you have a good balance. If you are voicing your own opinions about a movie it’s all good. It’s when people start going on about how they think they would have done it better or some made up technical reason why something is wrong. Just keep having fun with it cause the chemistry is great.
All GWCers check it out! Not just another sexy voice.
It has been a while so here’s an update:

I second The Nerdist, I’ve recently become a big fan!
Yeah, it’s TWO sexy voices!
It is basically a news roundup done with good humor. It’s an enjoyable 10-15 minutes Mon-Fri.
Starshipsofa, first podcast to ever be nominated for a Hugo, won the Hugo award for Best Fanzine yesterday. Give it a listen! http://www.starshipsofa.com/ or on iTunes.
I’ve never posted the full list of what I listen to so here it is. This tread introduced me to some cool stuff, I hope I can do the same for some of you
I’ve started listening to Geek’s Guide to the Galaxy because they interviewed GRRM, but they seem to interview spec fic authors pretty regularly. They’re affiliated with sci-fi blog io9 and it’s rpetty solid stuff.
Since I have started listening to books on my Android powered Personalized On Demand device.
My Podcast listening has dropped a lot.
- GWC

The Gamma Quadrant recently released their review of DS9 season 4 - Visitor.
In their rating system 1 - 5, 5 being the highest, Valerie, one of the three hosts, gave the episode a 2.
Her reasoning was 1. She hated Jake Sisko. 2. She hates writers writing stories on writers. (hmm… if writers can’t write stories about writers, i wonder who will ever write stories about writers… since once one writes a story, by definition, is automatically a writer…)
I guess that’s what happens when 3, obviously more devoted TNG fans than DS9 fans, hosts a DS9 podcast…
Valerie. FAIL.
if she doesn’t like writers writing about writers, i can only imagine how she will review Far Beyond the Stars…
that’s writers writing about a truck load of writers.
Yeah, she has issues when it comes to a bunch of stuff, but especially Ferengi and Jake Sisko. Even she knows she’s wrong, but she can’t help herself.
hansioux, excellent job initiating the discussion over there at The Gamma Quadrant’s libsyn page! :bigclap:
I think your first comment sums it up rather well:
By the way, this story hardly was about writers at all. It’s just about the love between Jake and Sisko and how love between a child and parent is beyond life and death.
Too bad it’s ruined for Valerie over such trivial things.
I’ll just list a few of my faves:
“The Gearheart” by Alex White. This is a looooong “podiobook” read by the author (and his wife) it is set in a world of Magic and secret societies all wrapped in a crunchy Steampunk coating. Yum.
“Scuttercast” this is for you Red Dwarf fans out there. There are a few RD Podcasts out there but I really enjoy this one. Some friends (or should I say “chaps” as they are British? No, I shouldn’t.) decided to watch all the RD Eps one by one and talk about them. They also talk about their lives and interesting things what happen to them. But it is very segmented, so you can listen to just about the Red Dwarf stuff and skip their personal stories or just the stories or RD News or just listen to the whole damn thing.
“Crimes Against Food” Another BritCast (did I just coin a new term?). Two ladies talking about food… pretty entertaining if you like to eat foods.
“WhatTheCast?” This is by the guys who do DragonCon TV if you are familiar with DragonCon at all, you’ve seen these guys. Very quick witted and fast paced general geek podcast. Great personalities all and very knowledgeable on all things Geek.
there are many more, but i’ll hold some back…except for these:
Wil Wheaton’s “Radio Free Burrito” and “Memories of the Futurecast”. This dude is just so frakkin entertaining. He’s just so I dunno, “approachable” seeming? Like he’s another of of your nerdy friends who just happened to star in one of the finest Sci Fi shows of all time.
Support Your Local Wil Wheaton.
I won’t tell you where to get these find 'casts, you know how you listen to GWC and if you don’t use iTunes or some like service then a quick Googleing will get you there from here.
I’m interested in hearing what other people have in their iPods (or Zunes or Generic Off Brand MP3 Players)!
Bleargh…my post got moved here because made a basically indentical thread to this one and I didn’t see that there was already a Podcast related thread already going!
#ShutUpWesleyFAIL
No sweat. We often wind up with multiple posts on the same subject. When we can, we consolidate. Sometimes, though, we just end up with multiple threads because they cover slightly different aspects of a subject (Search for “Game of Thrones.”)
