Another crew comes along and does a sequel to this show?
Would you watch? Could it be done well?
Just something on my mind…

Depends greatly on the cast and directors.
If its the guys from Knight Rider, probably not.
It’s ok for night rider since the original show was kind of bad too. But for BSG it would be a terrible crime.
I had a good (or bad feeling (depending on how you take it) that Joss Whedon would be the choice producer
I would be iffy about that one…
If he keeps the darkness and everything else I love great but I don’t want him to bring in the happy from Firefly…
You found “the happy” in Firefly??!?
I found funny … but not a whole lot of happy!
Check your bunk.
I see can’t it. They wrapped it up pretty tight, leaving everyone on Earth with zero technology and a bunch of cavemen.
Actually, you could make a sitcom out of that…
Hmmmmmmmmmm… I’d say no… something doesn’t feel right about it. I guess it wound depend on what story they wanted to tell. The new guys want to do another caravan across the stars, from start to finish? We’ve already seem that… pretty definitively.
No, it’s been tried. Doesn’t work.
It did work-in the “Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” series.
I kept expecting them to meet a native and the only thing they can say is “42”
I was thinking the GEICO cavemen, which flopped.
But if you’re going to go there, it took two tries to get Arthur off of prehistoric Earth.
Whoever made it, Richard Hatch would find a way to be in it.
It’d be cool to see the character’s surviving on Earth but their isn’t too many stories to tell in that setting.
Especially with Starbuck gone.
That would be cool, but you’re right-- I don’t know how many seasons they would get out of that… I would watch a mini-series of that, though! (like three 2 hour movies, like they did with Lost Room)
I’d like to see the story of how religion starts on our world, from the BSG perspective – that would be trippy.
I’m a sci-fi whore. I’d watch!
I’d much rather see RDM redo a different show. He’s money in the bank for me. Maybe space 1999 or something of that genre, but not buck rogers, that was biddybiddyshitty. I wouldn’t mind him taking a whack at a political drama with no scifi elements. I honestly thougth Watchmen should have been a TV Show, but the budget would be rough.
Other than that I suppose there are many things RDM could do and I really hope that he doesn’t keep us waiting.
I’d give it a try. maybe. just maybe
…but it wouldn’t be the same! what would it be called? Battlestar Galactica re-reimagined?
Id watch…be nervous about the possible suckitude if it
I found this today:
THR: Is there a type of TV show that you haven’t done that you’ve always wanted to do?
Moore: Yeah. I’ve always wanted to do a Western.
There’s just something about Westerns and Scfi that I can’t get enough of… there like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups – fraking tasty combo. There’s Firefly of course, Cowboy Bepop… do it, Ron!
