I saw this trailer today when I watched the new Narnia movie… And the trailer was in 3D! It was sweeeeet!

I know i’m gonna go to transformers jail, I recognize the ship but which transformer was the orange one it looked a little familiar but i just cant place it.
I thought the ship was the ark (similar landing position), but DP made me realize we just dunno.
I didn’t notice Autobot or Decepticon symbols anywhere, so I can’t guess which transformer that was. Plus, with Bay’s re-imagining of character designs from the cartoon, can any of us really be sure?
Apparently the Transformers fans are debating which of two possibilities it could be, Alpha Prime or Sentinel. I have no idea who either is.
Not sure who Sentinel is, but I can guess who Alpha Prime is. I’m guessing Sentinel is the Decepticon equivalent? I’m too lazy to wiki it now.
But, you got me sort of hoping for Alpha Trion now. On the Decepticons side, I’d hope for Shockwave, but it looks way too radically different for him.
Exactly! You can be the biggest Transformers geek in the universe, and your vast knowledge doesn’t matter for shit when it comes to the new movies. So I am not even going to worry about who it is, it could be Lady Ga Ga for all we know. I am not going to get my hopes again only to have Bay beat them down once again.
I was so excited when I heard that the female Transformers were going to be in 2, and even more excited when I heard that Jetfire was going to be in it too. So you can imagine my disappointment when the girls were hardly used at all, and then latter utilized as cannon fodder. And my biggest disappointment was having my hero Jetfire turned into Frakking Treebeard!:mad:
Let’s just hope that whoever it is on the moon doesn’t have dangling balls… Enough with the dick-jokes Bay, grow the frak up will you?

I’ve wondered about that. Is it Bay who is juvenile or is it that he feels his audience is? I’m not sure. Perhaps juvenile is the wrong word. I guess what I’m trying to say is that the films seem to imply an immature, stunted sexuality, callow impression. Leading to: Folks who like Transformers have the mentality of a 12-year-old.
There was a part of me that was kinda insulted. But heck, look at the pretty 'splosions!
