I understand where you’re coming from. It didn’t occur to me, but yeah. I think it is Bay who is treating the audience as 12 year olds. But, I don’t really mind. Many of us were around that age when the original series aired. And, the movies takes many of us back to that age.
I laughed at the dangling wrecking balls the first time. Unfortunately, that joke was only really funny to me once, and I have to keep myself from rolling my eyes during that scene after repeated viewings. d:
