The Princess Bride

This one seems kind of obvious

I don’t think it means what you think it means.

You would be amazed which people don’t like this movie. (or was it that they had not seen it yet, I don’t remember which)

Anyone who doesnt like this movie hasnt seen it.

Yup, just conferred with someone. The people in question have not seen it.

(almost feel bad for mostly outing them)

But they need to SEE IT!!!

:stuck_out_tongue:

I have to agree. But, maybe the younger generation may not be getting the movie?

You’re kidding… Tell me you’re kidding.

But the whole message of the movie is that a good story can always win over the skeptical young whippersnappers.

Hence, why they may not get it. d:

I dunno. If a 15-25 year old watches for the first time in this day and age… Maybe I’m underestimating them.

the movie is a classic that takes place in a time and palce that has no bearing on modern life. it’s timeless. really. phenomenal movie.

I will say that when I was younger I didn’t think it was nearly as good - simply because I didn’t get many of the jokes. Like the “never get involved in a land war in asia” joke - totally didn’t get that when I was a kid.

This is one of the most quoted movies by GWCers, for sure.

There’s a shortage of perfect breasts in this world. It would be a pity to damage yours.

Yes! Yes! YES! I love this movie

Yeah, you’re probably right. Freekin’ Gen-Y’ers…

No more rhymes now and I mean it!

Agreed.

We made up a drinking game for it when I was in college…

Details please.

And btw this is one of my favorite movies. I just kind of sorta watched it recently and it’s lost nothing in ossimness.

Still one of my favorite movies of all time. If it’s on TV, I must watch it.

“But what about the ROUSes?”
“Rodents of Unusual Size? I don’t believe they exist.”

anybody want a peanut?

Don’t comment 'less you’ve seen it!
