The Evil Dead 2 Frak Party

Hail, hail, hail!!!

I figured it was when he slammed into the tree at the beginning. It should have killed him. If it did, why is he alive now?

Ah, the great unanswered questions. I always assumed that these people died, and the demons inhabited their corpses.

Very little, if any, of it is Latin.

Some men wouldn’t let that stop them. :stuck_out_tongue:

I know, they need to be nipped in the bud. Axed from society, I say.

I didn’t think this one was nearly as creepy as the first. It definitely went more the comedy route, although I have to admit that that giant tree demon at the end was pretty frakkin’ intense…

But the first girl that Ash almost got laid with, Linda, she was stabbed by a zombie with a pencil. Then some sort of “infection” has spread from the wounds.

Mowed down.

So, all in all, not nearly anywhere as good as the first one.

Really, the only reason I tolerate this one is because it sets up Army of Darkness.

I just figured they died from their wounds, infected or not. And the dead are empty vessels, waiting to be filled. IYKWIM.

Hey Poofy and DBT!

As you know, I’m not a fan of horror films but I just wanted to stop by and say, “Hi.” So…hi.

Obviously you’re a fan of the post-horror-film glow, though.

Oh, and hi.

Ahoy, FT. So, you hitting 5000 this weekend?

BTW, you should still join us for Army of Darkness and Shaun of the Dead. I don’t know if I’d call them horror movies. They are more like zombie comedies.

I don’t get that. Enlighten me.

See what I did there?

I’ll be there for Shaun of the Dead. I heard so much about it. I had to check it out and the Netflix queue was low. You know how it is.

I must say, if I’m gonna die and still wander about doing bad things, I choose to be a vampire. Zombies, just no style, messy, and really kinda gross. Ghost, the whole no-corporeal-form thing takes the fun out of it. Vampires, so much hotter. I’ll gladly make the no daylight no garlic trade. Worth it.

Wow, he is getting close. These frak parties really ramp up the post counts.

Or zomedies. Or ZomComs. Or, in some cases, ZomRomComs.

Any interest in Fido or Young Frankenstein?

Well, I’m gonna let Poofy shine a light on this one. See what I did there, too?

Yes. Yes they do.

I love Young Frankenstein. DESTINY! DESTINY! NO ESCAPING THAT FOR ME! DESTINY! DESTINY! NO ESCAPING THAT FOR ME!

You’re such a bright boy.

It’s awesome. You’ll love it.

(Previous performance is no guarantee of future satisfaction.)

Totally agree. I could easily live (well, more or less) without daylight (and often do, even now), although the loss of garlic would pain me for the first few centuries…

There are currently no scheduled frak parties after Thursday the week…

Whaddy’all think?
