Went to nearby university campus for gaming convention Friday afternoon. More as a happy observer and elder statesman than a throw down angry bone roller like back in the day 
I’m always struck by the youth and energy and hopeful nature of academia. The boisterous laughter of young people pursuing their futures and discovering their mutual interests is spiritual in its simplicity. It has been decades since I wore cap and gown, but the leafy campus makes me wish for advanced studies in things I feel fading away some times. I do feel spread thin as Bilbo described.

P.S. I did laugh my ass off when one of the “Savage World” attendees ( seemingly hung over ) broke out a full Crown Royale bag of dice! Youth is wasted on the young

Hmm. Well I like “Brave” by Sara Bareilles. It’s a catchy and very nice song if you need confidence. If you’re looking for something a bit deeper, “Dark Side” or “People Like Us” both by Kelly Clarkson are some of my favorites. Both Kelly and Sara have some great music and I love them
