Street Dogs, featuring original Dropkick Murphys singer Mike McColgan. The first three albums were solid, competent punk rock, but nothing special, and I thought the band would be a footnote to the Dropkick Murphys story. Then they really stepped it up with the fourth album, “State of Grace.” Now, I think every other Dropkicks album is good, and every other one is forgettable. But the Street Dogs make better records. The most recent one is good, but “State of Grace” is the one to get.
This one’s strictly for the hardcore. DYS, “Wolfpack.” Bob Mould & Grant Hart sing backing vox on this track:
