I’d missed that one. I prefer the Dirk Diggler version, but that’s quite good.
One of my favorite songs of all time from one of the best bands in my lifetime. and one of the best movies of a generation
Where is my mind by the pixies set to the movie fight club
I’ve accused you before of hacking my iTunes. Now, if I had not witnessed the power of the Hive Mind, I might accuse you of hacking my brain!
I know this because Tyler knows this.
Audioslave – one from my all time fav bands, besides Rush (gods, I’m such a geek):
Show Me How To Live:
It’s kinda trippy, in that the song’s lyrics could have been written by a Cylon. The chorus always make me think of John Cavil – “Nail in my Hand / from my creator / You gave me life / now show me how to live”
I thot the same thing. Audioslave ROCKS!!!
Bee-you-tee-full.
I’m intrigued by songs with hypnotic qualities… this song reminds my of my current obsession, Kings of Leon:
Closer:
Yes. Yes, they do.
And because they do rock, now, for your auditory enjoyment… more audioslave.

Was a fan of the kings of Leon for a time ; although i will admit to not following them for a while cool tune though…
so why not another its also a little hypnotic
Kings of Leon “Milk”
Nice… reminds me of another fan band, Warp 11:
+1 for the “who gives a frak!” towards the end.
Why not? Leon’s good, but Waits… aw man… not only does Waits do hypnotic tunes, but has geek cred to boot.
Tom Waits: Get Behind The Mule:
I like to think of this as Baltar’s theme song, post-Daybreak. This is the song he played while plowing Earth’s first garden. It’s about getting up in the morning after a long night of drinking ambrosia, and stumbling to your craaapy job on the Tylium ship. It’s about atonement for your sins, which Baltar had aplenty.
Should I ever decide to drink brandy again, I will be stirring it with a nail.
