It’s All a Lie by Keren Ann
long time, first time (here at least.) In honor of Jericho’s season two debut today (it’s my new favorite show until BSG comes back,) here’s one for your listening pleasure: The Hives: Tick Tick Boom
No embeding for this one, see it the old fashioned way: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwhU99_66R8
And here’s the season two teaser with some lame voice over but the music and visuals are cool:
I’m liking season one, catching up on eps in crystal clear HD on our favorite channel, UHD.
Now thats a teenage wasteland for you (A little baba o’riley for you who haters!)
The who are still the best
Have you seen the “Amazing Journey” documentary that came out last year? Amazing stuff. One of my favorite rock docs ever.
“All I Know” by the screaming trees
Mournin’ In the Morning by Sue Foley
one of my country’s greatest vocalist, to listen to her live is like… well none of us forget there first time
Somehow her recordings just never do her justice
Screaming Trees? Screaming Trees? Oh, here’s a treat for ya…

The Gutter Twins. Album due March 4. Features former Screaming Trees frontman Mark Lanegan AND former Afghan Whigs frontman Greg Dulli. Two of the best male voices of their generation.
Who have long been running buddies in the Twillight Singers, but their two worlds never came together as fully as they do on the Gutter Twins.
And while we’re on the topic, if you don’t have the songs, drop what you’re doing and get:
Mark Lanegan, “Mockingbirds.”
and
The Twilight Singers, “Live With Me” (a cover of the Massive Attack song).
At one Screaming Trees concert, the band came on hella late. Then they took the stage to Lanegan’s “Mockingbirds.” And after that, he stormed off stage, and the show was over. Kind of a d*ck move, but kinda cool, too. One of my favorite songs ever, ever, ever.
Let me know how the Twins grab you.
If your 30 Rock jones is acting up, here’s Tracy Jordan’s “Werewolf Bar Mitzvah.”
