Ugh. Should I rewatch all of season 2 of dexter or just where I left off?
I’m in the same boat, dude. I abandoned Dexter a few episodes into season 2, and now I face a dilemma. I want to start watching again, but I shouldn’t skip the whole season. But I can’t get myself in the mood for and entire season of serial killing in a single weekend to catch up. So, meanwhile, new episodes are piling up.
Hmm.
Hey, anyone seen this Crusoe show? Is this any good? I’m following too many shows this season, and I’m finding that I don’t have enough time in a day to clear out my Tivo at the end of the day. I’d rather not start another show, if it sucks.
So, Crusoe… hot or not?
You guys should really watch all of season 2 before continuing on to season 3. It probably wouldn’t be very confusing to start up in season 3 but sooooo much happened in season 2 and Dexter is really a different person now so you would probably go crazy wondering what happened.
Besides, Dexter is like a breath of fresh air or a ride on the “It’s a Small World” ride after all of the political craaaaaaapppp that is going on. This is a shout out to all the serial killers on GWC. Please save us from ourselves!!!
IMO, Season 2 was definitely kinda weak. They backed themselves into a corner (being deliberately vague here), and I found the resolution to be ultimately unsatisfying. But Season 3 has been great so far, and there have been enough callbacks to the previous season that it’s probably a bad idea to skip it altogether.
But I can’t get myself in the mood for and entire season of serial killing in a single weekend to catch up.
Why not? Just jump into the bloodbath. You might like it.
So, meanwhile, new episodes are piling up.
Hmm.
No time like the present. Do eet! DO EET!
According to this review, it pretty much sounds like it all depends on your feelings about handsome men in tattered clothing.
I intend to watch it all, just I don’t know if I should re-watch like half of it and then watch the episodes I haven’t seen or just watch the ones I haven’t seen
Also. I’m watching Chuck now. I should have watched this from the beginning. And I would have if SOMEBODY would have told me Jayne was a main character in it
Hey, does anyone still watch Lost, Prison Break, or The Unit? I wonder if I should bother with watching over a season’s worth of stuff to catch up, so that I can start watching new episodes. Are they any good, the new episodes?
Nah, most likely, I’m just gonna forget these shows ever existed and move on with my life. Yeah, I can be cold like that.
I still watch Lost, but never started watching Prison Break or The Unit. Lost got REALLY good last season. Since it was a short season and not coming back until January, you probably have time to catch up.
Prison Break has made a few trips over the shark, but it’s a roller coaster I haven’t been able to get off. The Unit is also a can’t miss as far as I’m concerned. it’s 24 without all those pesky realtime credulity strains. however, the added element of what’s happening with the wives at home–while interesting in its own right–can pull you out of the A story and be distracting.
Of course, it helps that one of those wives used to be (or still is?) our beloved Summer Glau.
I can’t believe that anyone could give up on Lost!
Couldn’t have said it better myself.
Really? I don’t watch it, but I saw an episode at my parents’ house a few weeks ago, and it was practically a soap opera. My dad’s watched it since the beginning, but even he was about ready to call it quits.
Not sure if this was mentioned anywhere else yet…Last night’s ‘Family Guy’ episode ‘Road to Germany’ Mort uses Stewie’s time machine and winds up in Warsaw right before the Germans invade.
There is a BTTF bit. “Das Poop!!”
I didn’t want to like Lost, and didn’t want to watch it, but I started watching it with my wife the last couple seaons and now I’m hooked. It’s like a drug.
There was a re-run of the 1st season first couple of episodes on the other day, and it was REALLY interesting to watch knowing now what you didn’t know then.
So when does the news season of Lost start?
I’ve been watching Fringe…so far I’m not that into it. It just seems to be a poor imitation of X-Files with better CGI and fonting.
My parents LOVE CSI, but my dad watching Miami every time it’s on. I can not STAND David Caruso, so we have a funny little exchange going on over that when I’m over & it’s on…which is ALL THE TIME.
My wife loves her some CSI (I love her anyway) but Miami is where she draws the line. She occassionally watches it when there’s nothing else on and I like to sit and watch it with her simply for the great comedy value. Not only is David Caruso HIL-a-rious, but the stories, twists and, well, explosions are so over the top!
Apparently, though, Caruso’s performance and all of the over-the-topness are on purpose.
February 2009 or so was the last I’d heard. I’m sure that’s subject to change…
That’s good actually. Too many other things to watch now. I can wait for Lost.
Any 24 fans?
The unit is pretty good.
I have to go back and rewatch the first season though it’s been so long.
