I’ve been catching up for last week or so, but it’s got a little bit of the horror, and classic rock, and a 67 impala, (best car in a long line of cars)
anybody else think its good
I have both the first and second seasons on DVD. Love the show. Have you seen the last few episodes of season 2? They were the only ones I didn’t enjoy. I don’t know, but to me, it felt a little too over the top.
Not there yet, I’ll answer intelligently (we can all hope anyways) when I get there.

I like it too! Great soundtrack. It reminds me a bit of the X-files, in a good way.
Being a female/scifi/horror/rock/car fan …YUP! I’m in deep. Love this show. I think it’s got a great story line, good action, funny bits and the car…oh gods the car! Okay, yeah the guys are pretty hot too but…the CAR!!!
This show is really great, I’ve been following it since it came out and I always loved it.
The style of the show, the music and the bond between the two brothers make it awesome.
Funny and scary, horrific at time but always compelling. Especially now in the 4th season they always go into new ideas. The main arc change but still is really interesting. The shows with the “monster of the week” theme try to be unique still. Like the last one shot in black and white.
Its a fun ride. I hope they get many more seasons.
I’ve been describing it as Buffy meets X-files recently and that’s one of the best compliments I can give it
I’ve been watching since the beginning (in public I deny I have a crush on the car…or the stars) and it’s really a fun show. Season Three is uneven but Season Four (current airing season) is phenomenal. Feels like Season One again and it’s finally answering some questions.
And, y’know, the scenery ain’t half bad either…
Season 3 so far has been just great; the actings been solid, stories good very impressed with it so far.

But the best character ever -> Drunken porn addicted life size teddy bear. Who blows himself with a shotgun. Living teddy bears are just not made for that sad world.
I don’t know what happened in season 4 but they really put it on a whole different level.

I’m watching the episode where Dean gets trapped by a djinn (hey, that rhymes!) which is the proper arabic name for Genie. It’s kinda cool that he approaches an Imam to find out more about the djinn. (I think it’s the first time an Imam is portrayed as a character on tv, isn’t it?)
anyway, here’s what eating my cheese : the Winchester brothers always seem to be on the move in a muscle car. But they never explain where the laptop and all the ancient books they seem to have on hand, come from? I don’t think there’s enough space in the car boot for it? We’ve only seen a shotgun and some tools back there. I mean, in Buffy, there’s Giles the librarian who then opens a shop full of occult junk. Can anyone exlpain this?
They don’t carry that much stuff with them, but they do keep a good stock of books and the like in the boot of the Metallicar. Any extra stuff they need they usually get from other hunters, who seem like they have libraries all over the place, staffed by the same guy, Bobby. I think it’s like L-Space in Diskworld.
Yea…It’s like how they explain that where that trailer comes from everytime Optimus Prime transforms into a truck. Sean? Anyone?
That’s just a variation on Mass-shifting. Transformers can access an alternate dimension, which is why they can shrink and grow as a part of their transformation. Primes trailer shifts into that dimension when he doesn’t need it.
The movie transformers don’t mass shift, which is why they’re not as cool as the real ones.

I was a very nerdy child.
My roommate and I just started watching this show on DVD and we are LOVING it. We are about half way through season 2 and are hoping to catch up before the end of this season by watching the rest on itunes.
