Thats great! Always glad to see more people watching Supernatural. As a matter of fact I recently got my sister into it. I think it took her about a weekend to catch up to season 5. Hopefully they dont drag it out and ruin the show. Cant wait for the complete series boxset to come out on blu-ray so I can watch all the seasons till my eyes burn out and my mind turns to mush.
how good was changing channels; i always loved the trickster character, but they pulled off the classic switch from fun romp serious drama. It reminds me of Whedon’s writers at there prime. plus NUT CRACKER!!!
Hilariously accurate.
Supernatural has been renewed for a sixth season
awsome:cool:
I just saw this show for the first time last night. The episode “Croatoan”.
Me like!
In my perfect world, though, the show would exactly as it is except set in the Old West, Circa 1870s with the brothers as monster/demon-hunting cowboys.
there show re-runs on tnt in the morning 9am maybe 10am after charmed:cool:
that’s season 2. the show keep getting better. season 4 and 5 are amazing.
that would be a awsome show

and make summer glau the female lead
Is anyone else a little nervous that there moving away from the 5 season plan? it is just so good right now. i might prefer them to go out at there best…
that said i’m a full on kool-aid drinking convert, so i’ll be there just hoping it stays as crazy good as it has been in season 4 and 5.
i know what you mean. i have be wrecking my brain trying to figure out what they are going to do in season 6 if they end the Lucifer story this season.
the only way i can think of is not end the lucifer story this season, and instead have the arch angels as the big bad this season, and end lucifer next.
yeah i guess they could just stretch out the season 5 main arc but that takes away from it; if they just add a bunch of filler…
makes me think of season 5 buffy joss ended the season as he had planned to end the series; it went on after and was still great cause of the quality of cast a crew but overall the story of the series was split up.
but i guess well see; I have no doubt it will be good… just hoping it’ll stay great.
Speculation: Crowley = God? anyone?
Statement: Crowley = Romo Lampkin = Mark Sheppard.
Retorecal: Why am I sounding like HK47?
It’s been a few huge episodes since a lot of the last discussions, but I’d just thought I’d add my two cents.
Now that the season finale is next week, I’m thinking that the episode will involve Sam saying yes to Lucifer and being unable to control him at all. This leaves next season for Bobby, Castiel and Dean to lead Lucifer back to his cage.
Though the more I think of this, the more doubts I have and the more I feel like I should just do what I do with other shows and “go along for the ride” (not trying to predict anything). Despite my prediction, I have a hard time imagining the two of them apart for much of next season (which would happen if Sam says yes).
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
PS hansioux, I agree with your statement … and would like to add that Mark Sheppard also equals Badger (from Firefly). How awesome is that?
I dunno at this point, with how fast they did the rings fetch quest (Lol like Legend of Zelda games “Oh hey you met the boss he kicked your ass now go get some other stuff so you can finally beat him”) I’m thinking the Lucifer plot ends this season.
Maybe vs Crowley next year? Or just a return to monsters of the week. Or rescue Sam but not free Lucy?
I have to agree, and that is partly why I’ve decided to go along for the ride. Going into the second half of this season (and especially after getting the ring plan) I thought the season finale would be them defeating Death and Lucifer would be the entire focus of next season. Or maybe even the season finale cliffhanging with them face to face with Death.
I was VERY surprised at how fast the defeating of the Horsemen went down. How cool was Death, by the way?
I can’t see them going back to monsters of the week at this point (maybe a couple episodes, but very, very few). Crowley could definitely be a viable adversary.
I really love what they done this season. Since the fourth one they really kicked up a notch. Love the angel arc even if they are all jerks, even Lucifer doesn’t look so bad in comparison.
I also love the humor they really go all the way. I’m still undecided what I liked more Drunk Castiel or Hippie Castiel.
But I still think, this is the best character ever. Especially after it shoot itself with a shotgun. The writers are genius.
Hehe, well they’d included everything else imaginable at that point (well except the gods from other religions, but we know what happened to that … totally thought that was just going to be a “random monster one off episode” going in, by the way) so why not angels.
They’re not all jerks … just all except Castiel. Who is probably my favourite character in the series. The way he approaches things in the real world … hilarious. I think I prefer drunk Cas personally, though Dean’s reaction to hippie Cas was pretty good too.
