“No more saving the world. Just a nice pond with no pesky
fish in it. My biggest concern is whether or not to get a dog.”

Watch online at HULU

For those of you who are interested, the Gateworld Podcast did an episode comparing the 2010 in this episode with 2010 in the main Stargate timeline a few weeks ago.

Anyone else here?

Amanda gets more attractive with age, but she still looks great in this.

Not much of a fan of this title sequence. I prefer the extreme closeup on the Gate one from seasons 6-8.

Ugh, Kinsey as president. No wonder things went to shit.

I’m here. Sorry I’m late.

This was the original titles from the Showtime days. They still wanted to link it to the movie more than have it be its own entity.

Ugh, Kinsey as president. No wonder things went to shit.

Well, that and the evil aliens.

Science over Sam’s head? Is that even possible?

Well, at least one human (Arthur C Clarke) did envision turning Jupiter into a sun.

“To General Hammond.”

Dead for six years in 2010? That’s just creepy and sad, even if it was four years early.

Well, considering that politicians manipulate the media all the time, it’s no surprise that the Aschen can do it.

“Gosh, I wish I’d seen that coming… Oh, yeah, I did see it coming.” Classic Jack

“He could not have died of a heart attack. He was in perfect health.”

Again, creepy.

Date of Death
29 June 2008, Gibsons, British Columbia, Canada (heart attack)

I think I’m a few minutes ahead of you

It’s all right. I’ve seen this several times.

“What does your dearly beloved ambassador say about this?”

Bitter much, Jack?

Great disguise, Daniel :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh yeah, and this is the most annoying tour guide ever.

And this is where Walter officially gets his first name.

“And we’re walking.”

Didn’t you ever see Back to the Future II, Jack, sending sports results back in time is a bad idea.

Oh yeah, has the crew ever done a Back to the Future arc?

And this is where Joe becomes a complete d-bag.
