As stated in previous developer vids (so i don’t have to break NDA to tell ya) you can only have 1 companion per PC out at a time. 2 PC’s can run a flashpoint with 1 companion each if you want. You are NOT required to take a companion if you don’t want to though. Unless you outlevel them by a few levels though, you want a full group if at all possible.

If you ONLY want to play solo with your companion, smck40, you can do it, you’ll just miss out on a lot of heroic content and flashpoints/operations

Figured out last night that it would cost me about $130 to upgrade my PC just to be able to play this. Add that to the cost of the game, the monthly fee, and the impending holiday season, and even though it releases ON my birthday, it all spells me not playing the game. Oh well, it was fun to dream.

A processor, a motherboard that has a socket for processors that are still sold, and a video card. Could possibly get by with just video card, but I can’t find a video card powerful enough with an AGP interface, so I’d need a new motherboard anyway.

Today is the final day of the stress test, I believe. I’ve been loving it so far. Granted, I’ve only played 3 classes getting off their starting planet and into their advanced classes so far. My altoholism is already kicking in.
