My search for a guild continues. I’m tempted to post in the LFG thread, but I’m afraid of receiving 100s of invites. I thought I found a guild I’d like to join, but they aren’t accepting new members. d: There are a few other contenders, but I’m afraid to join a guild with 100+ members…

I may just wait until the last of the month and post in the LFG thread in anticipation of them closing it and making a new thread for September.

The reason I’m so deliberate about it is I tend to stick with a guild. I’m not one to hop to/from or quit a guild easily.

Since it seems like I’m in the minority and more ppl pvp…

Oh I still read it. Thanks for the updates!

Saw you posted on “What are you playing right now?”

Dunno whether you’ve seen:

Looks like a computer made within the past 4-5 years meet minimum requirements. But with Intel graphics, it can be hard to tell.

Satele Shan: Meet Actress Sno E. Blac
http://www.askajedi.com/2011/09/16/satele-shan-meet-actress-sno-e-blac/

If you’ve been following Star Wars: The Old Republic, you’re no doubt familiar with Jedi Grand Master Satele Shan who made her appearance in last year’s “Hope” cinematic trailer, and was seen more recently in the “Return” trailer.

Without question, she’s going to be a major character in the game. We know that veteran voice actress Jennifer Hale will be doing all of the spoken parts, but how did Satele Shan get her look?

Continued at link.

I like the comment “I sense a great hotness in the force”

Ask a jedi got an interview this time.

Account Security Questions
http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=496504
"As part of our continuing efforts to ensure account security, we’ll begin asking all SWTOR.com account holders to add security questions to their accounts on Wednesday, 9/21. After our weekly scheduled maintenance (which typically ends around 10:00AM CDT), account holders who log out and log back in will be asked to add these questions.

Eventually, these questions will be used to help verify your identity, so please use answers you are sure to remember.

If you encounter any issues with your account or have any questions, please contact us using the Customer Service contact form on our site: http://www.swtor.com/support/form and we’ll be happy to assist you. Thanks!"

Man picking some of those Questions and Answers were tough! Sometimes, they feel more like security against ourselves than against other people. d:

Also, this was re-tweeted around in Twitter already, but I thought I should post here anyway.

Edit: Looks like they really implemented companion behavioral customization at this “late” stage…

ooooohhhhhh, sounds like I can play this without having to interact with other people in the MMO-world…thank God!!! I was itching to play this, but my video game time is my alone time (unless I’m playing people in our Madden franchise and they all come here for that)…now I might even get excited about this game

Some of the plot and missions will require you to group up with other people…

…and my dream bursts…

You can try to do everything solo or with your companions, and do party content ten+ levels past what you’re supposed to in a party. But, I think you’ll eventually start missing some content after a while. But if you’re ok with that, then I’m sure it’s possible. You may reach level cap way after you normally would too though.

I’m imagining it’ll be the same way STO runs with their Away Teams. You can drag them along, issue simple commands to them and whatnot, but I don’t think I’d want to run an STF with them. That’s just too much micromanagement in a fast paced scenario, for one. I’d ask why you’d ever want to play an MMO after seeing your concerns but, I can understand wanting to get in on what looks to be some top notch Star Wars gaming. Still, I’d imagine there would be plenty of content you could solo in game. A lot of MMOs seem to be gearing up to support solo play lately, at least in a non raid capacity.

In any event, I’m sure you could find some pleasant company from amongst our fellow GWCers who will undoubtedly be playing. Expect to see some character name postings here that you can look up in game, if you find you just have to group up for any specific missions.

You can’t take companions on Operations, but can be used to fill spots in Flash Points. I’m not sure if you can bring more than one per PC though.
