I just finished watching the X-play Force Unleashed episode on G4 and they had a hilarious sketch about Vader being unfaithful to the Emperor.
For those looking forward to this game it was announced today (I guess now that would actually be yesterday) that the demo will be available on Aug. 21 via XBox Live and whatever the PS3’s service is called.
I’ve had this game pre-ordered for almost 6 months I think. I can’t wait until 9/16!!!
I’m really looking forward to that demo. More likely than not it’ll be the Raxus Prime mission that we’ve been seeing a lot of, or it’ll be the TIE fighter factory one.
I hear that the demo actually has part of a level that’s not in the final game.
I played the demo twice tonight. The only bad thing I could come up with is the demo is so short, just as I was getting into the demo and the awesomeness of throwing around TIE Fighters it was over. I’m so ready for this game to come out now.
Bah I have to wait until my brother in-law to get the game next month. You planning on picking up the book or comic? I’m thinking about getting one or the other this weekend.

i didn’t expect it to have the “trashing mobs of enemies” aspect to the game, which I actually find of fun. Star Wars sets it up perfectly cause there are always more storm troopers =)
I picked up the novel on Tuesday but this one I’m putting off reading until the game comes out because I want to go into it spoiler free. I thought about getting the graphic novel but I’d rather have the Art of/Making of book which I will have to order since none of the stores around here had it.
I picked up the graphic novel today. I flipped through the art of book and was tempted to buy that as well. I think it’s so cool that they are doing the exact same thing they did for Shadows of the Empire with all the multi media cross promotion. Does anyone know if there is going to be a soundtrack release like they had with Shadows?
I’ve not heard of any plans to release the soundtrack. I wish they would, but then I wished they had released the KOTOR soundtracks because even without John Williams doing the composing SW has some of the best music around (along with BSG).
i have a PS3, but i may have to buy a Wii for one very simple reason.
you can use the controller to wield your lightsaber. you can swing it around, just like a real lightsaber. (heh. “real lightsaber”) to paraphrase the article i read in SPIN, it’s not just the coolest thing you could conceivably do with the Wii, it’s something you’ve been waiting to do all your life.
Checked out the Live download this morning. It’s great fun being evil – especially with all the great force powers – but I really hope the story is as special as the play.
I read the review of the game in the latest issue of the Official XBox Magazine and one of the strong points according to the review is the storyline. Plus accoring to Star Wars insider there is going to be some sort of revelation about the Rebel Alliance and I know that Bail Organa and Princess Leia both show up in the story of the game.
Speaking of storyline, there are a total of 5 endings. I’m excited by that aspect alone. That’s one of things I loved about KOTOR. Ok so there is probably the good and evil endings, but what could the other three be? Possibly something that involves the love interest I guess, but what else?
