They are rare by the time of this movie.
And II. That was bad sb.
Muppet Yoda forever! Holds up three-clawed fingers in solidarity.
I always thought it was his home planet…but that’s not likely since the prequels.
CGI Yoda was amazing, though. I didn’t really care for the fight scenes.
AFAIK, Yoda’s race and background were never developed/revealed.
We can still dream. I wonder if others have taken the plunge and written their own versions of the prequels.
I had a friend who wrote a rough outline for the three films that took place after the original films.
Yes we can. Imaginations can carry us a long way. Or to a galaxy far, far away.
Lol. Took me a long time before I stopped jumping at this scene…
And, I started jumping again. Dang it.
Frank Oz brought Yoda to life, an amazing performance. People don’t realize the risks that were taken in both Star Wars and Empire. Because they worked I guess.
Think about it. You got a major character playing opposite a piece of rubber.
Rigel owes his career to Yoda. d:
Lucas owes some of his success to Jim Henson and Frank Oz.
R, “Daddy I’m scared.”
R has joined us again. E is watching Avatar: The Last Airbender up stairs.
“I feel cold.”
I see the parallel now…
This scene scared the crap outta me when I was younger. OMG, it messed me up.
It is very visceral. The slo-mo really works.
I was utterly confused why Luke’s face was there too.
I had read about that in the Storybook, so I understood. If Luke faces Vader now, he will be the one who dies.
That muppet has more acting ability than Megan Fox. d:
“Apology accepted, Captain Needa.”
Favorite line EVAH!
Had that as a ringtone for a while.
