Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

so this appears to be the one kind of training Yoda has for Obi-Wan.

an old friend has learned the path to immortality
(ironic that it’s what Palpy offers Anakin, but it’s Qui-gon and Yoda who seem to have better luck)

Natalie Portman’s gorgeous… Love the flowers. and a lovely touch with the necklace Anakin made her.

Could you please elaborate.

Exactly what Casilda said. The movie does it very badly to depict his fall to the dark side and it shouldn’t be that you have to read the books. But I can only recommend to you if you haven’t already, read the novelizations of Attack of the Clones, Labyrinth of Evil and Revenge of the Sith.

I guess as long as they watch up till the end of this movie, their picture oh him as hero will have changed.

Maybe some of Superman’s blood would help. :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh Alderaan. Before you went boom.

In opening battle scene, clone ships gestured towards X-wings; Jedi ships gestured towards looking like TIE fighters

CUTE BABIES!

And the first scene shot of this film is its last.

But the Binary Sunset parallel to ANH is nice.

Just imagine them kissing each other later.

one may wonder why Bail and the Jedi decided to split them up…

I want to see the scene with liam Nesson!!

Gotcha, you referred to the ships around the Star Destroyer.

No parents = singing end credits

Was completely surprised by the end scene. So beautiful.

Ewan had his hood up since he still sported the Episode 2 hairdo, right?

If one gets found the other might live…or is that too logical? lol

LOL I sing along no matter who else is around watching it with me. Probably why I usually watch just with spouse.

'talos, thanks for getting this together  it had been too long since I last watched (OK a little over a year but still). good times!

Good for you

And we have a wrap!!
Thanks from my side as well. Til noon today I’m off to sweet dreams (…are made of these).

Gentleman’s wager between the old white guys who rule the universe. :stuck_out_tongue:

All praise be to 'talos.

The “eggs in separate baskets” theory. :stuck_out_tongue:

Awww, shucks. Thank you to everyone who joined.

I asked my daughters about watching the Star Trek films. The youngest said, bleh The oldest said, “Yeah.” So, look for the Star Trek films in the next few weeks.

I was thinking we could watch the 2009 NuTrek film on Sunday or Monday since it is the Reese’s effect. You have your Star Trek in my Star Wars. You have my Star Wars in your Star Trek.

Have they seen them before? I can’t wait to hear their reaction to the 17 minutes of getting to the ship in TMP. :stuck_out_tongue:

Dang, I only have the trek movies on VHS and no VHS player. I do have nu trek on BR though.

Sorry for missing the prequels. Forgot I never had them, but I will for next year on BR.

I especially wanted to see “how” Padme died compared to my memory.

I don’t think kids would have the patience to watch TMP…

And so you shall:

They have not. Yeah. That one is going to be rough. Still, should be interesting to see their reaction.
