Star Wars Ep.5: The Empire Strikes Back

Thanks for another great party folks.

If only that were true!

Oh, sorry. I’m wrapping up over here. Plus the falling asleep because it’s midnight part.

Good night and good luck to all of you.

did any of you guys know that when James Earl Ray (the voice of Darth) was a kid he studdered. then in High school he got like a teacher to help him. and he became well one of the best movie figures of all time.

That statement makes you officially the coolest kid I know.

And yet the “classics” line makes me feel old…

Yeah I saw that in the DVDs bonus features.

lol–I thot I was the only person over 30 who uses that expletive

sorry. :o :stuck_out_tongue: im gonna watch this again tonite.

Jones, sweetie, James Earl Ray is a whole other story

James Earl Jones is the name. If you like “classics”, check out James Earl Jones in Doctor Strange Glove

Holy guacamole! First time I read this, I saw James Earl Jones. That’s amazing how the mind does that.

Was that the porno version of Dr. Strangelove? Was he in that also?

oh craap big messup. i apoligize Jones. (no sarcasm)

yeah, don’t think JEJ would like to be confused with the person convicted of assassinating Martin Luther King jr

yaaa. i only dream about being in the Boston symphony orchastra. i have like almost no musical talent, except 4 a little gutair and piano. but they dont look 4 that stuff.

That’s what I meant. :stuck_out_tongue:

Sorry, I was thinking about Peter Sellers as the the German with his hand and glove.

and as casilda’s not here to be the official music commentator, let me say that the Empire soundtrack is probably my favorite

glove …IYKWIM

No big space battle, bla! Who needed that? The Hoth Battle was my first geekgasm.

Of all people, you haven’t?

He’s not a Jedi…YET.

Two different devices. The shark carries the suspense through that whole film. I was never scared in the cave. You know Luke is getting away. The sound effects of the wampa weren’t eerie enough. When I finally saw the wampa, meh.

Correct idiom. Impressive. Most Impressive. Before you know it, you’ll be teaching English.

When I was a child, I remember a contest during Saturday morning cartoons that asked, “What is the name of the pilot who flew with Luke?” I ripped through my storybook and he wasn’t named in there. I was soooo pissed.

I always wondered and now I don’t want to know.

I shoulda known.

That’s because in the original trilogy he is used properly: as a character, not a caricature.

You’d be correct. Wasn’t it just gaffer tape?

I love it, also. I use it whenever possible and even when not.

So true. More evidence of how the prequels could have actually had a better story. Consider more intrigue surrounding the twins going into hiding. It was treated as a wrap-it-up.

The prequels have no moment like that. It just a more enjoyment factor to the originals.

Of all people, you haven’t?

Have you counted every star in the ST openings? :stuck_out_tongue:

You’d be correct. Wasn’t it just gaffer tape?

That was her boobies in the last episode. I shared this information last week.
