You know what’s funny? As much I hate the love arc, I end getting all gaga like Anakin for Padme. She is just so adorable.
Come now. Remember who you talkin too?
aggressive negotiations, oh so flirtateous!
See my watching on mute comment.
See, I felt almost the opposite.
Everything looks to clean in these prequels. It’s to easy to tell a lot of the sets were computer generated. 4 through 6 actually looked like people lived there. Lucas, ease up on the special effects!
So George Lucas designed Padme’s outfit in this scene. It looks uncomfortable.
No doubts there. I love the eye candy. I just wish the quility of the acting and writing matched, at least the dialog.
Where we at? I finally got the DVD running.
am I crazy or did Padme’s outfit lose a lot of bulk in the transition from table to fireside?
agony!
my heart is beating, hoping that that kiss will not become a scar.
you are in my very soul, tormenting me.
Wow that’s kind of craptastic.
I’m at 55:55
“I will not let you give up your future for me”
Of course, it’s all about Anakin. But in some ways it is so very first love. I mean, did anyone else write crappy poetry as a teenager?
Yeah I get ya. One friend says it looks like a frakkin cartoon. After seeing the trailer for Clone Wars it was painfully apparent.
waaaaaaaaay too ridiculous
“You are in my very soul” –wow. Good job on the script Lucas //sarcasm
I think that clean pristine look is intentional. This era is like the golden age. The Empire comes along with it’s miltary look and the old look get left to rot.
Was the moment showing Boba closing the door with Jango’s Mandalorian armor really necessary? Because of course we didn’t have any idea that Jango was the bounty hunter…
No, whoever placed that army did so without authorization of the Jedi Council…
Yeah because they are excellent at actually doing things. Ughs. And hey let’s be all about deception.
Just giving the lad something to do, other than scowl.
The dream!
Where are Anakin’s hands!?!?!?!
You’ll all notice next week that in his dream sequence, his hands are very clearly above the covers, jeje. (In Revenge of the Sith)
