Eew. Was that dead Borg’s brain showing?
Isn’t it amazing? Thank you Manny Coto.
He/she died – will have died for a worthy cause.
Well, CBS and Netflix are having an hot and heavy affair for at least 2 years
“If all goes well, a terminal one.”
Janeway would agree.
Shut up, Beverly! Frakkin Crushers!
Geordi is talking so straightforward at first when he’s explaining being able to repair the borg implants. Great bit of acting on Levar
Yeah!
Ideally, they colonize planets without anyone on them already.
Unlike colonization on Earth.
That’s not true.
I know you’re a time traveller.
Yes. I look forward to it.
Yep, that’ll kill 'em all right.
I think they do it pretty ethically in the Star Trek verse. The only colonize planets that don’t have intelligent sentient life. Or maybe even planets that don’t have any possibility of evolving into intelligent beings.
And we see this again with BSG… are we allowed to commit genocide against our enemies, when they’re non-human?
“We are justified to do anything we can to survive.”
YAY! Humanity! Rah! Rah!
Anyone else reminded us that episode of BSG where they ponder and I guess even implement a genocidal virus on the Cylons?
Hive Mind.
But the Borg are human—well, a variety of species – human, Andorian, Klingon, Vulcan— just like the Federation.
Patrick Stewart forever gets to say “Did I ever tell you about the time I sword fought with Whoopi Goldberg?”
Clearly, the Borg are a sore point for Picard. He’s been pretty anti-genocide when it’s come to non-humanoids in the past. Consider the Crystalline Entity, the Sand crystal critters, etc.
Didn’t Helo stop them?
Psst. Geordi and Worf. Don’t get any nano-cooties on you.
Yes, but former humans and whatnot. I think of them as zombies at this point in their development. An imitation of what they used to be.
Shhh… they hadn’t retconned that yet
Helo or Lee? I gotta rewatch that.
“This is for you.”
I bet R2-D2 would get busy with that. :groucho:
