Star Trek: The Next Generation 5x09 A Matter of Time

I mean “moot” :stuck_out_tongue:

If I went back in time and George Washington told me I can save some lives of his troops if I gave him informaton, I have to admit…I also wouldn’t get worked about about those lives.

Picard’s yellin “THe Right Thing to Do” was…dare I say it …poorly acted by a very good actor.

“How can you be? How can you be comfortable watching people die?”

They would all be dead for quite some time from a future historian’s POV. Other than possibly Guinan and Data. Picard couldn’t reasonably expect him to alter his own history. Assuming he’s not a big lying liar.

Agreed. Just to be selfish, any change in the past could change my present. Even eliminate it altogether.

“La Forge remained below.”

Hey, even if it doesn’t work, he’d burn up too fast to even feel it.

See, Al Gore. Aliens will come and save us from Global Warming. No problem.

The planet’s ker-ploding!

And then the Enterprise dies and regenerates into the next Doctor Who.

This reminds me, I recently saw the movie Sunshine recently. What a movie!!!

I’m pretty sure he was sizing him up there. Although they don’t play it that way. That’s the way I would have wrote it.

Among the items that Rasmussen tried to steal are a VISOR, a tricorder, a PADD, several isolinear chips, a d’k tahg, a type 2 phaser and several small devices.

There is a reference to this episode in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine fourth season episode “Bar Association”. In that episode, Odo cites the case of Rasmussen as an example of a security breach aboard the Enterprise.

Keep that in your hat.

Oh Max, the typical villian “let me tell you my secret evil plan”

An iPad!!! No way anyone steals another man’s iPad without a challenge to the death.

“New Jersey.”

Where all evil rests.

LOL. I was thinking the same time.

Steve Jobs is from the future.

“I assume your handprint will open this door, weather it’s attached to your body or not.”

“Real Future Gadgets From New Jersey” new reality show on Bravo.

I’m okay with that.
