Star Trek: The Next Generation 5x09 A Matter of Time

Awesome

Holy craap, Hive Mind is scary sometimes.

Wow, drilling holes into things can make them worse?

worse…or better?

no. Yeah worse.

“How can you listen to 4…bla bla bla?”

Wouldn’t we all be androids by the 26th century? C’mon! Who doesn’t want a fully functional android body?

Cool seeing Data’s painting.

Bad move, Max. Data knows where everything is in his quarters. You just made a huge mistake.

Meh, Max’ll blame the cat.

An often addressed theme in many Star Trek episodes.

He’s reminding me of Taggart, very much.

Besides, Picard asked this very same thing (help for a solution to the planet threat) of Q.

God-like energy beings?

Picard is finally sizing this guy up. He doesn’t want an answer. He doesn’t trust this guy.

Isn’t there any way they can evacuate this planet? Seriously? The Federation is a huge peacekeeping group. They don’t have frieghters for just this purpose?

Um…can you frak it?

Hmmm…Taggart? Who’s that. A Eureka chracter?

Kahnnnnnnnn!!!

Director Paul Lynch stated, “It was more of a comedy than a drama. Matt Frewer was wonderful as a space con man… He got the reputation of being large for his comedy roles, but he was a consumate actor and he found the level of comedy and realism of the character which is what makes him such a good character. He was never schticky.”

So true. Frewer is pretty OSSIM! Too bad he didn’t get more work.

Sans accent.

Yes. He plays a quirky genius. There was just a Christmas episode where he tries to capture Santa Claus. It’s great.

I think Picard is in the wrong here, he shouldn’t even be asking Max to make this choice (which it mute anyway at the end, but still)
