Just in case the above you tube link has a delay too, here’s an alternate one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1PVFzKtHew&NR=1
Moe Howard.
Pahhh.
Just sayin’
Malachi Throne (Senator Pardek) was also with Leonard Nimoy during his first appearance in Star Trek, the first Star Trek: The Original Series pilot “The Cage”, as the voice of the Talosian Keeper. He had also previously appeared as Commodore José I. Mendez in “The Menagerie.”
“And now the conclusion”
or
to quote the Beastie Boys
“You think the story’s over but it’s ready to begin”
Spock’s dialogue with Picard in the teaser was intended to tie in with Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country which was released in theaters less than a month after this episode aired.
Wow. He was Commodore Mendez? I love that character.
Man you are full of … trivia.
Woah. Picard is out-un-emotionalling Spock.
He’s possessed by the spirit of Alex Trebek! WITCH! WITCH! Burn the witch!
The NuTrek movie (but mostly the comics that tied in) really delved into the whole Spock wanting to reunite Vulcan and Romulus
Spock “I will inform Star Fleet when it is appropriate.”
Yeah!
Ooo…“Walk with me Picard.” Heavy moment.
So you “know trivia” (Memory Alpha) like I “research” (Google)
Have you seen this one before? (I know there’s a lot of TNG you haven’t seen yet.)
Does he weigh the same as a duck?
Picard handles different races so well. He breaks down the facade. He did it with the Klingons in the last episode and now he is sifting through Spock’s bull.
Having never seen this, really enjoying the Spock/Picard interplay!
I’m looking forward to checking out those comics.
Centuries? Aren’t Vulcans and Romulans separate species altogether?
