Yeah, because the general populous can’t be interfered with.
hm. too bad they can’t just remove the pro-consul.
The guy did indeed “get around”, did he not?
even more unfortunate costumage. ouch.
How prescient, with the “you name the winner”
Kirk doesn’t often give a crap about the Prime Directive. He usually just looks at the planet’s society and if it ain’t “American” enough for him, he changes it to be more “American” …usually to Spock’s objections.
If the “Romanesque” fashions are supposed to be authentic, where’d the suit and ties come from? It seems unlikely that such fashions could evolve in the same way…
noooooooooooooo its loading! grrr
I had that problem last show.
Kirk not knowing what to do with a lady slave. I am confused.
what really gets my goose about it it that it keeps forcing more commercials - when I reloaded I had to watch 2 to get back to where I was. grumpity-grump.
Aw Spock breaks the rule to save McCoy
you’re just missing something that’ll piss you off
I hate to say it, but the actor playing Merrick is kinda lacking.
I know he’s supposed to be a flunky, but still…his lack of charisma is distracting.
Hot girl in slave outfit… yawn…
Oh my! The outfit on the blonde chick…I’m afraid I’ll be in my bunk.
oh. that part.
I just got to it.
grrrr.
I see we’re having different reactions to the outfit.
Which is why he’s not acting. This society is pretty much identical to '60s America. Maybe with some different set-dressing, but not that far off the mark.
Very subversive social commentary here.
Just getting a bit bored by it…
A really good Spock/McCoy moment there.
