The Ferengi headacheball (yes, that’s the technical name) makes repeated appearances in the series, in the grand TOS spirit of prop-recycling. 
those actors playing Ferengi should have gotten hazard pay. those teeth look dangerous–and damned hard to enunciate through
Much like the vamp fangs in Buffy, they improved as the series progressed.
These obviously aren’t personalized for the actors, again like the average vamp vs. Spike, Angel, etc.
is this an attempt to reboot the Ferengi as a formidable enemy?

Jeezy-Creezy, lighten up. The poor kid just walked in. He didn’t even have a chance to say anything before you jumped down his throat. 
Only one reason that a medical officer should ever say “number one”, IMO.
So Ferengi transporters can pass through Federation shields?
