You remember how Seinfeld said, “NEWman!”? That’s how I feel about Ashur. What a slippery little shit. Hate. Hate. Hate.
Good character, though.
Can’t wait to see the new seaon. What a great show!
Awwwww Yeah! Opening Scene, nuff said. I guess by “Old Friend” Spartacus is referring to the Elf commander who died at Helm’s Deep.

Spartacus: Blood and Boobies
Yesterday I died a little from excitement after watching this! No wonder Starz already ordered a 3rd season. This will be the Ossim. Hope that Sean and other will spread the word!
Women who can kill you in an instant…yeah, I can see how people like Sean can get drawn to this. lol
Really looking forward to this show! Its a fantastic series =)
I have a version of it as well, but decided to wait til Saturday to watch it.
Holy crap this weeks episode is brutal. I’m only 10 minutes in and I think there’s been more blood than any one entire episode has contained before.
Might be, though the characters and their interactions are what make this series so special.
That frakking bald Gaul…this won’t end well.
Oh, agreed, the story and characters is what make this series, I just thought it was worth noting how much the violence has ramped up. Spartacus isn’t just looking to even the score, he’s going for total and utter destruction of his enemies.
The big reveal at the end has me excited for the next episode as well. For every word spoken to someone’s face, there are a hundred spoken behind their back, and one of the best back-stabbers from the last two series’ looks to be returning. Can’t wait.
i miss Batiatus… man, the first two season should have been called Batiatus: The Spartacus Years and Batiatus: Stuck with Dad Years…
Since when has Crixus been so soft spoken?
I don’t like the character of Spartacus, but I am glad the writers kept him in character. So despite the unfortunate actor change, he is still very much the Spartacus from before. I think Spartacus without someone anchoring him is just a hot head without purpose and just reacts to what ever life deals him. When he has loved ones like friends or woman around, then he becomes focused and plans his moves in detail.
