In an off-base bar, the “Angry Angels” arrive.
They’re an elite squad.

TV announcement.
Tellus destroyed, Vesta Colony destroyed.
The enemy will not respond to communcation attempts.

Nathan wants to fight.

War is declared. Our heroes are sent on a training mission.
No commanding officer, the squad is on its own.

Off they go in a military shuttle to board the Goddard.

Shane has nightmares - always about her parents death when she was 5yrs old.
They were killed by AIs. (Artificial Intelligent units)

Shane was the “parent” to her two younger sisters, now she doesn’t want to be responsible for anyone but herself.

They land on Mars and start unloading the supplies and communications equipment.
Hawkes and West start fighting. Vansen can’t help it, she steps in and takes over.
She’s a natural leader.

They ask her what should we do.
She just sighs - she’s always in charge.

Shane Vansen is very kick ass.

They run across an enemy re-con force.

We see one of the enemy soldiers. He surrenders.
The crew brings him back to the shuttle.

The novices are trying to figure out what to do with their prisoner.
West wants to shoot him. Damphousse give him water as a kindness.
But the prisoner dies from it.

Hawkes to Col. McQueen
“I’m not gonna die for them.”

Col McQueen to Hawkes:
“What would die for?”

The “Angry Angels” are to meet the enemy in battle.

“Coop” Hawkes is starting to bond with his fellow flyers.

The Angry Angels a trashed. The crew is called back for active duty.
All shiny new Lts.

Oh, they are wormhole openings.
