So what is Starbuck anyway??

I remembered doing some research on the name Starbuck back when we first found out she had a special destiny. I had found something interesting but could not now remember what it was. In trying to recreate the research now, I did a search for Thrace and stumbled onto Karanovo…very weird. the rest of the bit that is also weird about the Thrace civilization is that it’s hyroglyphics are identical to the ones in the Pyramids of Giza. So the Thrace civilization predates the Pharos…
Maybe Kara Thrace Predates humans and cylonsl… She is one of two characters that we have seen get EVERY prayer to the GODS answered in her favor…the other being Baltar.

Resurection came from Kobal… I think Kara might be one of the lords of Kobal come down through the ages being reborn again and again…as this has all happened before and will happen again…

Well, my early guess about “sleight of hand” plot reveal was correct, at least in so much as Ellen coming back and the Final Five being partially explained was simply “she downloaded when she died, before the resurrection hub was blown up.” I can’t believe I thought of that.

This reveal of course partially explained Starbuck too. I think it’s much easier than we realize. I’m just guessing, but Starbuck simply downloaded in proximity to the “Colony.” Where did the Viper come from? The “Colony” is either more advanced than the destroyed res-hub ship or less advanced and treated Starbuck-in-Viper as a whole entity, recreating everything.

I still can’t explain how she got back to the fleet though.

But a good itchy, right? :stuck_out_tongue:

I am tempted by this. But why and how was she reborn? That matters.

So true. She’s the best frakking pilot in the fleet but a mess out of the cockpit unless there’s a gun in her hand. Love it.

I tend towards the theory that Kara is the child of the Daniel prototype and Socrata Thrace- the first hylon, and thus special.

Oh those are eaaaasssssy.

The how is brutal. Time, distances, method. Is the surgery at The Farm a red herring?

Here’s a wild guess - she has a destiny (in addition to destroying the res hub). And that is to be the main actor in saving Hera, thereby promoting the mingling of the “species”, destroying those who would pursue “purity” at all costs (Cavil & Co - and also enslave the remaining humans on “Kobol”) and thereby break the cycle.

I laid out my most recent idea of the cycle on some thread - One God?
