Smallville

Episode 411 - Unsafe
Talon may not be the best study environment with as busy as it is.
“A girl would have to be crazy to get in a relationship with me.”
Cut to Alicia? Nice. Good to see her again.

“He graduated Harvard in 2 years with more degrees than a thermometer.”

Something’s up with the doctor. “Sessions” as a euphemism?

Crap! How does Alicia know about red kryptonite?

“Too busy ‘playing with your sword’ to speak to your father?”

Hello, Kal.

Nice PSA from Chloe and Lana.
Chloe has… Jimmy? As in Jimmy Olsen?

Alicia asking Clark to slow down? That’s a change.
And now Alicia has what she really wants. Clark broke the bracelet.

Wow, Alicia stopped a bullet for Clark.
Wait, how did she have time to react?

“How are you feeling?”
“Like I just teleported in front of a bullet.”

Good to see Alicia again. Episode wasn’t as good as her last, but still not bad. Clark seemed to be a bit quick to forgive her, especially with as mad as his parents were at him. Seems like he’s reached his lowest point as far as feeling isolated because of his secret. Does this mean that Alicia’s going to be around for a while?

I wish I could watch this and the next few eps with you. Hang on for a ride…

LOL love these one liners. I have to remember that last one.

like fastcart said, it’s a great ride.

Well, what made that last one work was that Lex had just been fencing with an attractive looking woman. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ll also enjoy the last season.

After the last few seasons, I really started to enjoy the maturing of the season.

Episode 412 - Pariah

Yeah, Alicia is back already. Good.
“That was subtle, Lois.” :stuck_out_tongue: My reaction exactly.
It wasn’t Alicia. That’d be too obvious.

Lois is being even more snarky than usual. Is she jealous or something?
“She can transport easier than Captain Kirk.” And in the same scene as a TJ Hooker reference. This must be Talos’ favorite episode :stuck_out_tongue:

She got rid of the bracelet? Uh oh.

Overprotective and overbearing? Now it almost seems like Mom’s trying to sabotage the Jason/Lana relationship.

Nice frame job.
Alicia will turn herself in if Clark reveals his secret. That idea won’t go down well.

Nice catch, Clark
And now Chloe knows. The only question is will she get amnesia or something by the end of the episode.

Tim did it?

Chloe seems rather spooked. Because of Clark’s powers or because it took her so long to find out?

Yeah, Mrs. Teague’s definitely up to something.

Tim killed Alicia? Oh crap. Clark’s more pissed than we’ve ever seen him.
Nice counter with the heat vision, Clark.
So, was Tim playing in a sandbox when the meteors hit? Wouldn’t be the lamest explanation for powers.

Lois just told Chloe not to tell? Nice symmetry with what she’s doing in Season 10.

As awesome as Clark’s catch was, Chloe’s come close to finding out so many times that her actually finding out was a bit anti-climactic. Alicia doesn’t have anyone but herself to blame for so few people trusting her. This was a pretty good episode, but I probably was expecting a bit too much from it.

We hyped it too much. Sorry.

Oops, but it’s still my favorite episode, I love Alicia, she isn’t perfect , but she feels so real.

Not just you. I was looking forward to Chloe finding out so much that anything would have seemed disappointing.

You must have a thing for crazy women.

Oh, wait… d:

hm, they do seem so much more interesting… especially when they are not trying to kill me.

Episode 413 - Recruit
LOL at Lois drinking the Jock Squad under the table.
So let me get this straight? A hotshot football player got paralyzed by … a pink bunny slipper to the gut? Something’s rotten in the state of Kansas.

Well, now Lois knows how it feels to have super hearing. :stuck_out_tongue:
Chloe almost spilled the beans already, 5 minutes into her first episode of knowing. Clark’s going to know that she knows by the end of this disc, isn’t he?

Wow, lot of pressure on Clark and he hasn’t even signed yet.
Light blue and white really aren’t Clark’s colors.

And Lois sees those girls coming onto Clark?

Geoff caused the paralysis? Well, he’s from Smallville, so I buy it.
And now he killed him and is willing to let Lois take the blame? Bastard.

“Are you applying for financial aid or to the CIA?” :stuck_out_tongue:

LOL at all of Lois’ jokes about the black market pee.

Geoff’s going to drown Lois? Classic villain mistake #2: Killing someone slowly enough that the hero can rescue them.

“I hurried.”

Looks like Clark has a “Get out of paralysis free” card.

Nice bit with Clark realizing that it’s too much pressure for him.

Jason really is working with his mom. Crap.

“Lois, who would have thought I’d be relieved to hear your voice.”
Wow, Lois really steamrolled Clark there. Though how Clark can make that decision is beyond me.

Yeah, Clark’s already catching on. Guess Chloe isn’t as good at keeping secrets as he is.

The plot was a bit heavy handed, but Lois made this a fun episode.

ow many more episodes on the disc? (:

3, This was the first episode on the disc. That’s why I watched Iron Man 2 instead of a second episode last night :stuck_out_tongue:

Episode 414 - Krypto

Wow, a dog tore open the safe?
“Everyone I’ve ever hit was alright.” That happen often, Lois? :stuck_out_tongue:

Clark wants to keep him? Because he wants a dog or because Lois is allergic?
Nice for them to acknowledge that it actually gets cold in Kansas. This may be only the second time that’s happened in the series.
Love the dog’s innocent look after he pulled the tractor through the fence.
“I think we should call him Clarkie.”

Owned by LuthorCorp? Oh crap.
Krypto-steroids again?

“Maybe you should get together with my father and write a parenting book.”

“Remember when Clark did that? He was only 3.”

Jason’s mom had him take Lana to the Countess tomb? Damn.
And Lana heard the whole conversation.

Love Clark’s smirk when Lois stepped in the dog crap.
“Hold on there, Forrest Gump. What are you going to do, run?”

What’s that Lassie? Clark fell down a well?" :stuck_out_tongue:

“I was thinking of calling him Krypto.”

OK, maybe Lana didn’t hear everything.
“On a scale of weird to ten.”

Lionel found the map?

So the Kents are keeping Shelby? I expected a reset button on that.

Not a great episode, but there have been worse this season.

Yea I started watching smallville again in season 6 and hooked… they bring more of the comic and other DC charcters and for me only has gotten better…

Episode 415 - Sacred
Dr. Swann’s dead? Makes sense, but still sad.
Now that’s an awesome cut to opening credits.

Metropolis, China, Jason? Wasn’t aware there was one.
“Why don’t you turn around?” Nice, Lex.

Lionel may not be a slimeball any more, but he still has an agenda.
Was wondering how Clark would get there.

“I feel like you’re the only person in my life who doesn’t have an agenda.” Yeah, about that…

“We’re definitely not in Kansas any more.” :stuck_out_tongue:

The security force was working for Lex?
“Was” being the operative word apparently. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy. :stuck_out_tongue:

Guess placing the stones predated the key.
Now why would a Kryptonian put kryptonite in the statue?
Oh crap, the Countess is back.

Thanks, guards.
“Don’t you want to see this?” He’d rather not have it see him, Lex.

Nice grab, Clark, but you should have kept going.
Damn, she must have enchanted the blades.
Awesome fight sequence.
What happened to the stone? Did it not want to be found even by Clark?

“I was just trying to figure out if hidden temples and body snatching witches fit under community service ore extracurriculars.”

Jason has the stone? Damn.
“Blink twice if you can understand me.”
Now that Lana has one of the stones, is the Countess going to resurface?

This definitely had a “big episode” feel with the Swann, Jor-El, and Countess connections. So now we know for sure where two of the stones are, but lost the lead we had on the third one.

The 5 Best (and 5 Worst) DC Supervillains on Smallville

A few weeks back, we ran the 11 best Smallville heroes who’ve shown up from out of the pages of DC Comics. Since the show is basically a DC character showcase now (with the Wonder Twins potentially jumping the shark), it been full of these superhero cameos… but also of supervillains. See, when you have a different bad guy show up every week, not all of them are going to be Brainiac. That’s just life in the 'Ville.

I think they were harsh on Lex. Seasons 1-7 he was great. Whole heartedly agree about Season 8’s big bad though. Hard to believe Zod didn’t make the cut, but Maxima did.

Merged the thread on Smallville that was in Comics to here since it was also about the show and not a comic.
