I just got skype.I really like it…even use the file transfer option.
Kodak refuses to make a XP driver for my webcam making it a $180 paperweight (i got it free in 2002,and i see why).No excuse for them not doing so,most companies support ALL their products,discontinued or not.I found a third party driver,but the picture sucks,so it’s audio only for me (i wouldn’t want to see your ugly mugs anyway) :rolleyes:

I’ve only used skype once since i downloaded it.I noticed it’s open mic only ! …hopefully i just missed it in settings.With open mic,it’ll pick up my speakers.Throw in alittle delay,not to mention multiple users,and we’ll talk over eachother like crazy ! …like a party actually,that’s sounds fun.I’ll bring a six pack.

There is a button on the Skype page that lets you mute/unmute your mic. Some of us do use headphones.
Anyone can start a conference call anytime when they see others on Skype. There is a list on Page 2 of this thread with some of our contacts (I’ve added yours) information.
Bkitty has posted instructions on how to start a call too. So read back through this thread!
