There has been discussion off and on for quite some time about holding a series finale meetup. Nobody can settle on a location. This is a bad thing. While we remain in the off-season period, it is probably best to at least state location preferences in a poll.

Sorry, submitted my very first poll. Alas, this one is public. It is public as, frankly, this is one where lobbying kinda does need to happen. That’s the only way a site can be settled most simply.
And before I forget, yes, please do mark multiple choices. This is an opportunity to lobby and try to come to agreement.

I chose Las Vegas & Cleveland.
Las Vegas would probably be more readily suited for something like this…hell I should have probably included DC for the same reason. They are used to conventions & the like. Small things can be done as well.
I chose Cleveland as well for 2 reasons, chiefly, it’s about 4 hours from here so very easy for me to get to! 
Also, it’s right on Lake Erie, despite the horror stories you may have heard from the 70’s, it’s a beautiful lake. If we could get something on the lakeshore it would be really cool. It’s also a really cool city.

NYC can be a fairly high cost option. Philly is within reach and slightly more manageable.
You have my agreement if you can get Solai or Pike to add such. I cannot do so, it appears.
Oh, New York is still part of the US. If the series is over in March, I don’t want to go deal with snow and other winter stuff. Being a native of Cleveland, I know how much snow happens in March in the vicinity of Lake Erie. Cleveland wouldn’t have the gridlock of NYC in coping with snow.
Seriously. Why not just have on R’Lyeh?
I chose Philly and DC, because they’re close; Cleveland, because I’ve always wanted to visit the Hellmouth (and it’s close :)); and Vegas, because, well, it’s frakkin’ Vegas. 
And, of course, Dallas, because it’s GWC Central. OTOH, by the time the series is over, Dallas is gonna be hot. Like Africa hot. 
You know what city is gonna be a relatively low cost option with guaranteed gorgeous weather around the time the series ends? Why, BSG’s spiritual home, Vancouver!
The problem is that for US folks flying there, passports are required in both directions. I know I have my papers up to date and all. The going cost to get a new passport is around $150-$200 depending upon the processing and delivery options chosen.
We could sneak across the border. Hey! spatterson65 has that big pickup truck! How many of us do you think would fit in the back under a tarp?

There is an option as to Vancouver if you flew to Seattle then took AMTRAK. In some cases, that is easier than flying straight to Vancouver and could potentially be cheaper. The passport card reference there is also cheaper than a standard passport like mine.

Well, the chances of me actaully be able to attend a Series Finale Meet-up are largely theoretical. But I chose NYC because it’s probably the least theoretical.
I also picked Washington, DC because the odds of my being able to justify a work trip to DC are probably higher than anywhere else.
