I voted for Dallas, for the Crew’s sake and because it is centrally located, sort of. Either coast will be too expensive for those on the opposite coast. The Windy city could work a middle point as well. I think we need to pick somewhere that is cost effective for the majority and doesn’t put the Crew out.
Is there really interest in this? I’d be willing to put together a small event in Dallas if there are, say, even five people interested enough to make serious plans. I’ve always imagined that no one would be willing to travel for the event.

I picked mainly Midwest locations since I’m in St. Louis. Chicago would be a nice option, too.

That’s why I posted the poll. The old thread had fits and starts in being brought back to life. I just thought it was finally time for everybody to throw down and show what they thought. Once we know what cards everybody wants to play then we might have an easier time discussing such.

Yes. I voted Las Vegas, as it’s so affordable to get there from almost anywhere…even tho it’s all the way across country for this New Englander.
But my Gods, if there’s an event you’d like to organize in TX, and you can give a bit of notice, I’d bend over backwards to attend, IYKWIM. What better way to spend the finale ?? I can’t think of any. Count me in, as a definate, I think it would be a blast in TX !!

OK – as you’ll hear in GWC #124 – since there are 13 people willing to consider travel to Dallas, I’m going to go ahead and take charge of planning a Dallas-based series finale meetup. I’m still doubtful that anyone will spend the dough to come to Dallas just to hang out with us for the series finale, but if you are, I’ll figure it out.
