WTF is that? Nextstep?
i am guessing it’s a heavily themed Ubuntu.
And he is editing a perl script?
Changed most of my default icons and got a sleek new wallpaper, enjoy all of you DMC fans Also, I know it looks like I have Vista, but I’m running XP…that bar is a result of Vista Inspirat: I got it because Vista just looks nicer (but it also gave me the sound scheme for Vista Beta, which is just beautiful!) Anyways, take a look:
@The3: Even though it looks like you go to UW, that’s still no excuse for using pico Get a real editor!
I fixed your link for you. (:
That link was still broken, must be cosmic rays. I fixed it right up, though, you’re welcome.
MercuryShadow, look what you started!!
Seems to be some problems with that link. Fixed now.
Bare bones, eh? Trying to wrap my head around how a GUI editor can be “bare bones”. We don’t need no stinkin’ GUI! Vim FTW!
Alas, quite incorrect. I’m using…gasp…Vista! I know, I know, I should hand over my geek card. Unfortunately, though, Linux doesn’t have a remotely decent speech recognition program yet (and Dragon NaturallySpeaking apparently doesn’t run well in WINE), so I’m stuck with Windows for the time being.
And it’s PHP. It’s a program to let the user upload an image to the server. At least that’s what it’s supposed to do…doesn’t work yet.
Heh, indeed I do go to the UW. I was only using pico because I was making a small change, so I just wanted to edit the file right in the terminal rather than having to re-up the revised version. Usually, I use Dreamweaver (just as a glorified text editor) or ConTEXT.
It’s a Mac, that’s as bare bones as we go. Modal text editors are so seventies.
Hawt. Your choice of OS imbues you with a unique invulnerability to network-based attacks.
Well played.
I have a Mac 512 in my garage, I should fire that baby up. System 4.2 (the latest I can run without losing ridiculous amounts of memory) repruhzent.
(as a budding usability specialist, I simultaneously love & despise old-school “room metaphor” UIs)
It doesn’t always end well:
Welcome to Bob!
Isnt that a game? I remember playing a game that looked just like that, it was pretty awesome as I recall.
