Fox has done it again!
A shame of course. I expected with all the publicty regarding the new terminator movie the series would be able to survive. Still Fox renewed Dollhouse, and if it is a choice between one or the other I think they made the right call.
I was really torn on which show i wanted to survive if i had to choose between Dollhouse and Terminator. Terminator had a much better season finale but Dollhouse is really ramping up and had a much better run to the finale. I guess since they wouldn’t give us both i am for what we got. But i will morn the loss of T:SCC
The way to bring T:SCC back is to buy multiple tickets to Terminator: Salvation. If it becomes the Dark Knight… wouldn’t somone want the show?

this one hurts, tscc is a great show well written and acted. It deserves a chance to at least finish there story. maybe a mini series like the peacekeeper war did for farscape.
I wish, but it’s not likely. they already see it as done, so why build up more set just to make the FANS HAPPY?
Wow, that really blows. It took me a long time to finally get into T:SCC; we watched the pilot a while back when we did the Terminator podcasts, and despite really wanting to watch more, we got sidetracked. Only recently we’ve gotten through most of season 1, and I think it’s a fantastic show.
I feel a little guilty; maybe if people like me didn’t take so long to get into the show, it would do better. Although it is Fox, and when they even start a brand new show I assume, like most people, that if it’s any good it’ll be gone before long.
Not to harp on, but I’m amazed at how shows like “The Biggest Loser,” while perhaps inspirational, just destroy shows like T:SCC, Dollhouse, etc. in the ratings (apparently). I don’t hate those other shows, but reality tv and silly, shallow, and voyeuristic-type programming seems to never go out of style. Yet really bold, innovative shows that challenge people to put together puzzles, think beyond the surface, etc. often get canned before their time. I know I’m preaching to the choir; it just still boggles my mind sometimes.

Fpx continues it’s tradition of canceling great sci fi. so sad. 
The glut of reality shows and their ratings are a product of the relatively low production costs (as compared to scripted series) and the fact that (and I don’t want to sound pompous here, but…) intelligently written, thought provoking scripted TV, especially those stories that take an arc approach (as compared to nice, tidy, compact 30-60 minute self-contained stories) are beyond the comprehension and enjoyment of most of the public. The members of this forum appreciate deep thoughts, but the A.D.D.-ridden general public simply can’t handle them.

As for the show, I really enjoyed it, and am exceedingly disappointed of the short view taken by Fox for virtually every show they’ve ever had on the network other than The Simpsons. Anyone remember how they unceremoniously canceled the show that put them on the map in the first place, Married With Children? They didn’t even give it a proper send off.

While I’m happy Dollhouse survived the cut, there’s no way it’s a better show than SCC.
Maybe Summer will join the cast of Dollhouse…
She makes me tingle. (Even tho the chest is seriously enhanced in this pic,) I still love Summer.

Man this hurts but alot but I think that the high production cost really killed this show. Both Chuck and Dollhouse had to cut budgets to get their renewals
