A Friday night meet up sounds great.
the hub and I were talking about what a cool group of people there were at the TX meetup, and want to offer our home as the Friday Night Meetup place. We are about 20 minutes from the Convention Center by car, about 10 minutes from the Mission Valley hotels.
We can order out and hang, far away from the madding crowd.
If that’s too difficult for people with questionable transport, there are a couple of places in Old Town- trolley accessible, north of the Convention Center.
Casa Guadalajara or Rockin’ Baja
If you dig the crowd, there are some good places not far from the Convention Center. We can start by getting a body count and preferences!

I will be at the Con all day Friday and should have my car. I can take extra folks to your house. I won’t be able to stay late because I’ll have the kids and we leave for AZ the next morning. Can’t wait to see everyone. Honestly, I’m more excited for that than the con.

Being a recent addition, I haven’t been to any of these meetups or had the chance to really talk to these peeps yet… but if I wanted to stop by is that cool? I haven’t seen the Fri. programming schedule yet so can’t nec. commit…but I would def. contrib. towards cost if I can make it. Thanks for the generous offer.

I am up for a meetup Friday night. I am staying downtown with no car, but I’m sure that I can figure something out if we do the meetup at bkitty’s. I was fortunate enough to go over to her house last year during comic-con, and it was really nice. Thanks for the pizza bkitty! I can’t wait to see you again this year!
Being as this will be my first time at the Con (Do they make virgin kits like for Rocky Horror?) is it realistic to meetup at the con? Not instead of the bkitty & Hub bash, but to enjoy the RDM panel together on Friday. Just checking. I know it’s crowded, so I don’t know if it be hard to find each other. Might need to do a Twitter role call.
