I have to admit that the most upsetting of those for me was Gaeta. I knew it was coming, but that didn’t make it any easier.[/SPOiLER]
It was tough for me, too. At the end of the day I felt the same way I felt about these characters coming in, and it’s a tough pill to swallow.
I just thought that there would be some form of redemption in the end. Oh and BTW I am so done with Zarek after his little visit to colonial 1.

Michael Trucco was in a really bad car accident and was left with a huge scar on the back of his neck. Clearly, he’ll survive, as this is obviously the writers working it in.
I think that for Gaeta there was.
And that is what had me bawling for 10 minutes after the show was done.
[spoiler]I expected only the ringleaders to get offed, but it was surprisingly bloodless in the end. Almost glorious.
Still Gaeta took it like a man. I respect him for that.[/spoiler]
Hence the possibly 
they didn’t resolve that this episode. the last time we saw him and Kara was when Romo appeared to decide to help them get to Cottle.
funny how certain people get offed… but others who have committed mutiny and iniated coups get to live.
But see? I was saying this two weeks ago! Zarek is everything that everyone feared Roslin was becoming. Roslin, for all of her bad moves as president, never ha[SPOILER]d the quorum shot.[/SPOILER].
I did feel bad for Gaeta at the end, mostly because I’d always liked him. His reasons for his insurrection are actually right and correct, but his choices on how to follow that reasoning were, obviously, not. He would’ve served a better role as a voice of dissent in the fleet, I think.
I also doubt that the retribution was as bloodless as some of you think. We just didn’t get to see all of the trials and executions. Or maybe they sent the mutineers to the prison ship. There’s only so much justice you can get with executions before you start getting into vengeance (some would say one execution is one too many across that threshold…).
[spoiler]Speaking of how Gaeta took it. What do you think of his stump “stopping”? Seems to me that he was at peace with its disappearance at last[/spoiler]
