Especially since they really did it. I kept thinking it would jump out of the basket.
She’s a sly one.
I think she’s trying to get Jeff interested.
Oh no!! Miss Lonelyhearts!! NOOOO!!!
So that lingerie didn’t get him interested but risking her life. These people are kinky.
I can’t wait. I have to say it.
Stella did it. STELLA!!!
A '50s flashbulb? As a discrete signal?
That’s subtle.
Bullhorn is in the shop.
Doing that climbing and window shimmy in high heels? Impressive.
Wait til the giant robots show up. She runs through a construction site and doesn’t even muss her lipstick up.
Ruh-roh!! He’s seen them.
Why’s he whispering? Hehe. So well done. The whole audience is scared.
That’s not Tom on the other line. Mwahahahaha!!!
Why are they spying on the neighbors with the lights on?
oh my!
Hmm, maybe I’m jaded, but the ending seemed a bit obvious. I guess it would be a new experience at the time, but still, I expected more of Hitchcock.
Aw, Miss Lonelyhearts. Not so lonely afterall.
Great camera work on the defenestration, though. Amazing shot. Can’t imagine how they accomplished that back then.
Sorry, you didn’t like it.
hmmmm. don’t know if I agree. thot it was pretty satisfying
I’m not saying I didn’t like it. It just wasn’t as complex as I thot it would be. What we’re led to believe is going on is exactly what was going on. Pretty suspenseful back in the '50s, maybe, but it was just begging for some sort of twist, like Miss Lonelyhearts was actually a Black Widow or one of the newlyweds killed the other or something along those lines.
