The important number is the 4.2 over the initial three (really, two) days. THAT’S why HBO immediately ordered season two.
the 2.2 had me concerned at first, cuz that is relatively low for something they’ve been promoting for a while. buit the 4.2 over a 2-3 day period is a much better number
They could probably even get by in the 2s here, since they’re going gangbusters overseas. In the UK they owned their timeslot. It’s on satellite there, and it still beat all the BBC channels combined.

EDIT: I also like when famous people don’t realize how famous they are, ie. when the Nerdist was completely surprised when the cast sent him a message and was floored that they are just excited about meeting with him as he is about meeting them. Awesomesauce all over.
