Does this make her Super-MILF?

A Dance With Dragons, the fifth book in George R. R. Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire” fantasy saga (also just a matter of weeks from premiering on HBO), has an official release date.

July 12th.

I kid you not.

Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace in 3D will get released on February 10th 2012. Do you think we’re gonna see some lines of people camping before the cinemas??

Everything is ready…except all the “heavy rain broke a decade-long drought, turning the apocalyptic landscape into a flower garden”

Stupid flowers…making apocalyptic wasteland look all…pretty (Shakes fist)

There is the possibility of two SGU TV movies to wrap things up

http://www.gateworld.net/news/2011/03/sgu-writers-hoping-for-movies/

I dunno whether it’ll do well in the box office, but I think the premise is brilliant.

My gut instinct was no. Then, I realize that Phantom Menace came out in '99. So, all the kids who saw it back then will have a yearning nostalgia for it the way we do for IV-VI. I wonder if they’ll realize Episode I is the worse of the prequels, they way many of us used to like Return of the Jedi at first, then switched to Empire Strikes Back as we got older.

This is so true. A ten year-old me loves the space combat. The adult me can’t stand watching native teddy bears taking down a purportedly well-trained and vastly superior fighting force.

HOORAYYYYY!

Seriously, I feel guilt about not watching SGU until November. I could have saved it, man! If my single TV had been watching in real time instead of mainlining it through Netflix and iTunes in a single glorious week! If only…

A movie or two would be much appreciated. I think they will need that, basically 25% of a 3rd season, to wrap things up properly.

looks like GK Films wants to reboot the frachise

So who should play Lara?

Ok, this might require some salt, but there is a rumor that Marvel is looking at doing an Inhuamns flick

http://www.badassdigest.com/2011/03/07/marvel-is-bringing-the-inhumans-to-the-big-screen

If (big if) they do this, it would be quite a turn from just sticking with earth based heroes. Course this would also lend a little more credence to the rumored big bad for the upcoming Avengers flick
The Skrulls http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/MarvelFreshman/news/?a=31330&t=Agent_Coulson_Hints_At_Skrulls_In_iThe_Avengersi
if they are going that cosmic…Inhumans isn’t too farfetched. But we’ll see.

Now this could be VERY cool

I heard (and am now perpetuating) rumors on the Internets that Olivia Wilde is gonna be the new Lara Croft, and I for one have no problem with that.

Looks like a bidding war has begun for which studio will make Voltron

http://nymag.com/daily/entertainment/2011/03/voltron_movie.html

Squeeeeee!!!

Looks like Ron Moore is adding some former BSG castmembers to his new show 17th Precinct. Jamie Bamber, James Callis and Tricia Helfer are now confirmed.

And in sadder news, it looks like del Toro’s version of At the Mountains of Madness is now dead. The studio insisted that it had to be PG-13 while del Toro wanted an R and refused to work under those restrictions.

Unless your TV was linked to half of all the Nielsen boxes, I don’t believe that you watching the show live would have made a difference.

Lena Heady should have the necessary performance for this role.

I picture Lara as more tanned… But, that’s easily fixed. d:

Bamber! Someone alert Raemani! That makes me happy. I’d really like to see some Katee Sackhoff but I’m looking forward to this show regardless.
