Sorry. Enjoy.
The hangover is what gets you, though.

Sarah Palin’s husband looks like an unemployed lumberjack. Apparently Men’s Warehouse in Alaska just had a big sale on irregulars.
me too. I actually cried
Well, that was going to happen with two Democrats running against each other.
See yuh.
They’re calling it a landslide and a mandate. Guess the 48% that voted against Obama do not matter anymore.
This is warm caring McCain of the concession speech, if this guy ran for president (without Palin), he would have won. Instead, we had a different McCain that pandered to party base at the expense of his integrity. Sad.
Just like the 51% that voted against Bush doesn’t matter, no.
Why is it seen as a vote against Obama rather than a vote for McCain? And…
Yeah, thanks for thinking exactly what I was!
I will admit, I expected the popular vote to be less close than it actually is.
Here, here!
That’s the difference between Electoral and Popular. Electorally, it is a landslide.
Yup, yup, and yup!
McCain’s concession speech is really excellent, there’s a link to listen on the NewsHour twitter (thanks for sharing, Pike???) - though the people there who boo at any mention of Obama or Biden (did I hear a Kill Obama shout at one point? shivers…) ruin the effect. They really weren’t listening to him, were they. The whole point is for all of us to get along. Because we ARE all Americans, and no one is more a ‘real’ American than another.
Were they calling that win a landslide and a mandate?
I know, I was a bit disturbed by the boos as well.
True, but not in actual votes.
And Kerry won the popular vote, but lost the election. That’s why I have a problem with the Electoral College.
Quite like the scores of Obama supporters that I have seen that have seen talking about and fantasizing about property destruction against McCain supporters?
Really? Information I am finding shows Bush up by around 3,000,000 votes. Also, approximately the same percentage of the popular vote at that time.
well, at least it will be nice to have a president who can put together a coherent sentence
