Presidential Election Frak Party

And btw Keara, never apologize for having empathy for someone elses pain. It’s not a sign of weakness, in some ways we focus way too much on the “virtue” of ruthlessness.

For me, it was calling Jerry Falwell an “agent of intolerance” and then appearing on stage with him, smiling and shaking hands and taking a big check.

That’s not being a maverick. That’s hypocrisy.

But how else will we hear the lamentation of the women if we don’t crush our enemies and see them driven before us? The Governator could not be wrong about such things.

Damn straight.

how long before that bird craaaaps on Colbert’s shoulder?

They blew up Dick Gebhart! They blew him up! You maniacs!

Yeah, both of these guys are pretty much losers this year. I voted for the one least likely to turn me into a felon.

I’m so with you. I didn’t think McCain was bad, but Palin definitely scared me. And I agree with Obama’s policies more, as well.

I jumped in here late, but watch the twitter feed @newshour. Results are posted there first.

I’m refreshing the Times, WaPo, and CNN. Times much more cautious about calling than CNN, which is the most bold of the three. I’m obsessing over Virginia, though. My municipality went the correct way, but I’m biting my nails over the state…

Agreed, he isn’t Darth Cheney. And it isn’t girly to feel badly - it’s his last chance to be President. Sucks to be him.

You’re much more optimistic than I am…

I’m counting the seconds… it’ll be awesome!

I’m just curious why they’ve called Ohio, but not Florida. Ohio only has 39% of precincts reporting and only a difference of 120,000. Whereas Florida has 69% of precincts reporting and a differnce of over 200,000.

Maybe because % of precincts does not equal % of voters?

Do you think the Red states will finally surrender?

I guess. It’s just weird to think it’s so close, and yet already decided.

It’s not just the difference, but where the difference is coming from. In OH, It’s very close, but the votes that haven’t been counted yet are overwhelmingly from Democrat-voting areas. In FL, less so.

So, the empire falls thusly. Bye, bye, Dick & Bush.

It’s the exit polling. If they get a big shift to one candidate in a heavily populated area, they’ll call it even if only a few percent of precincts are reporting.

GO VIRGINIA!!!

Sorry. Husband is getting annoyed with me. But I am very, very pleased. For the first time ever, everyone I voted for might actually win.

NBC News just called it for Obama. Damn!

eta: That was a happy damn, btw.
