Ok, that clue really does make it seem like Gaeta can’t possibly be the final Cylon- it’s too obvious. But they could have been talking from Baltar’s jail cell in a flash back, and the “know who I am” comment could have referred to his role in the resistance. Were they smoking New Caprica Leaf?? Gaeta sounded a bit… stoned. Plus, restaurants shaped like food? I know I only think of that sh*t while not quite sober.

I’m with you, though: there’s no way Gaeta’s the final cylon now.

Or maybe it’s a red herring to make us think it’s way too obvious for Gaeta to be a Cylon. Or is that a double red herring? It’s getting awfully fishy around here.

Seriously, I’ll be interested to find out by the end of the show if any of these clues actually means squat.

Is it as simple as a confrontation over Gaeta’s extensive knowledge of Baltar’s activites on New Caprica and the fact that Gaeta secretly passed information to The Resistance?

well i guess this means that gaeta survives the webisodes. although i never believed he wouldnt. maybe we’ll learn something in the webisodes about who he is, maybe in the new caprica flashbacks.

and yes im wondering what’s happened between gaeta and baltar to make them so buddy buddy. unless of course gaeta’s got some henchmen right off camera pointing guns at baltar.

Ok, Gaeta’s operating in a strange mode, something’s happened to him, something’s changed. He’s kind’a got this megalomanic air. I wonder if he thinks he’s the Cylon god… which would explain Baltar odd attitude, he seems to almost be expecting to die and it is at peace with it.

Thanks Aset. I was so confused by the first clue I ignored the other two.

The first “clue” is the one that is bothering me the most…I mean, I’m willing to play along and get these clues, webisodes, etc., but give me something. Although, I guess if you weed through the static, the first clue probably has more substance than the other two.

Sorry, I am probably not making sense. I wish January 16th would get here already.

I will now go eat Christmas cookies until my frustration subsides. Thanks for listening.

That first clue would need to be taken apart so you could hear each individual sound bite they are mashing together. I was able to make out a couple from repeatedly listening, but I don’t have the means to clean it up & seperate it out.
