Potential Spoiler: SciFi's "You Will Know the Truth"

I’ve floated some thoughts at the recently started previews from 4.5 thread.

new clue is out.

a clip that we may not have seen (i dont remember and cant rewatch right now) of baltar and tyrol from escape velocity where baltar visits tyrol in his quarters. its ok, nothing too special or weird.

next clue will be revealed dec 12 tho!

I wish these people would stop mumbling.

I thought it clearly sounded like
anders
i thought it sounded like
leoben. because of previews and spoilers ive heard about here and leoben going off in the woods and finding her viper… etc
The votes are in and he is the winner.

It is
Leoben, there is a trailer out right now that shows the scene. It’s a continuation of her 7 Leoben in some field.
I’m kinda reading between the spoilers here, but what retouched last supper picture are you talking about? I only remember the one from EW before season 4 started. Is there a new one?

(I couldn’t find/read again the last supper photo thread from last season, but I see that there’s some discussion of it here, and having season 4.0 under our belts, perhaps a good time to look at the picture again with the additional info. But huge apologies if I’m repeating stuff here, I just feel the need to write out my train of BS thoughts on the whole FC matter and the stupid last supper pic. Sorry! I’ll totally delete the post if this has all been discussed already, as I’m almost certain it has.)

Looking back on the Last Supper photo, and that Adama and Roslin are supposed to be ‘bookends of sorts’, then:-

The Helo theory:-
-should one ‘pair’ the people up according to where they’re sitting and where they’re looking following the pattern of Adama and Roslin, then the next pairing would be Natalie/Tigh vs. Athena/Helo. They’re the only ones with a clear indication of where they’re looking at in the picture, and the only ones directly looking at each other. Obviously I have no idea what that means, but given that season 4.0 has already shown the Natalie/Athena showdown there, perhaps it’s an indication that Tigh would be next in line as a threat to Athena/Helo. I realize that as a long time advocator of Helo is the FC, I’m totally biased, but now that we know about Tigh and six’s cylon/cylon baby, perhaps the reason why he’s looking all menacy even with the eyepatch at the scared couple is because Hera is also a cylon/cylon baby (meaning Helo is the FC), and some shit’s gonna go down between the two couples with the full cylon babies. I’m still wondering what the importance of Hera is, given we now have a cylon/human baby in Nick as well as the fetus of a cylon/cylon baby - why was Hera so darn important for someone who’s pretty much done nothing all series? Helo being the FC would make Hera important again, and why it is necessary for them to protect her. And yes, I know Natalie is NOT D’anna there, but, but hello? TOTALLY pointing at Helo, going, “you’re the final fifth!”

The Dee/Cally theory:
-Then we have the next pair of bookends, Lee and the Chief (and the chalice and dagger…) Both are not looking at anyone in particular in the picture or have any associations with anyone else on the table. This is a pretty interesting pairing here. The Chief is by far the one who has been coping with his cylon-ess the hardest and seems almost to the point of breakdown at this juncture, with his scary laugh, melancholy, and his personal connection to the whole eye of jupiter thing. Lee is now the president. Perhaps a sign of them joining hands to do some damage, or that the Chief is going to assasinate Lee? Hm. Back to the FC: Chief has that dagger there, and Lee is eyeing the chalice. If the dagger represents the death of Cally last season and that this pairing is about spouses, then would the chalice represent Dee? Then given how limited we know about Dee, it is possible she’s the FC. Same goes for Cally, to a lesser degree only because I hate the idea of the FC being someone who’s dead. But anyway, if the FC is really NOT pictured, then this would indicate something to do with the spouses of the two men. Or that, Lee IS the chalice (and the FC), which is why the Chief wants to assasinate him. Yeah, ok, probably not.

-then we have the last pairing of the two couples, and also the one I have no freaking idea on. Let’s see. Both couples have serious problems, and their positions in the picture give us an indication of the status of the relationships. (Anders loves crazy Starbuck, Starbuck accepts but with closed eyes, Baltar looking up to Six who’s become the Jesus figure. Anders and Six are cylons. So that leaves Baltar and Starbuck. One has eyes and the other closed. Both have in some way accepted their new found faith (Starbuck getting them to earth, Baltar being religious cult leader). Hm. Both highly and almost too obvious as the FC, so I believe neither are, even though they are heavy players in the mythology of the religion.

Here’s the direct link to the new version of Last Supper on SciFi’s “You Will Know the Truth” page with clues for next season.
If for some reason that doesn’t work you can just go to the beginning page.

This is certainly plausible. However, given Ron Moore’s comments aoubt Tight literally turning a blind eye, I think Tigh’s stance in the picture is more about him rejecting his cylon side. Because he has rejected his “cylonness” if you will, he has also turned a blind eye to who Six really is.

Oh, thanks! It’s a bit weird looking without Roslin there. But why is Natalie still there? Isn’t she dead for realsies? That is Natalie still, right, in the picture?

And Aset, that certainly makes more sense. Tigh is more than whether or not he’s a cylon or a humanl; he’s TIGH. Actually, weirdly enough, out of the FFour, I feel that Tigh has actually dealt with being a cylon the best - Tory is drunk with power, the Chief is creepy, Anders is coping (like his scene with the 8s), but is generally too wrapped up in Starbuck’s stuff to really emerge as a big player, but Tigh? Still very Tigh. AHA! Or maybe it’s just Tigh using his good eye to laserkill that baby in Six’s womb. The eye level does match.

Anyhoo.

Or perhaps the absence of that eye is important to his human side trumping his Cylon side, if that is what is happening.

I think it’s both simpler & more complex with that. It’s brought to the forefront the man Tigh has always wanted to be. At the same time, I don’t think he’s really dealt with his being a cylon. HE decides who he is, not some frakkin’ toaster!

I think it’s safe to assume that is Natalie in the picture. I don’t know why they kept her in the picture while taking Roslin out, maybe it was purely an artistic decision though.
I liked Natalie and thought her story arc was interesting, but I never understood her place (or gesture) in the Last Supper picture. I think D’Anna was probably more important in the series than Natalie, but yet Lucy Lawless isn’t featured.

See, one of the major reasons I believed Starbuck was always coming back was because I listened to the podcast and never heard RDM say ANYTHING specific about her being dead. I thought he danced around a few particular words quite deftly. He described the cast and crew’s reactions to the episode, but never said definitively that she’d died. He just let the fans fill in the gaps, and soon everyone assumed they’d heard him tell us that he’d really written her off the show. It was a sleight-of-word act from the get-go.

um. where is the clue that is supposed to be revealed today?

It’s been rescheduled for 16 Dec. I just got banned from the sci fi forum for criticising the decision.

Banned? For that? Wow - pretty touchy.

does sci fi really think that taking the dictator network route will force people to watch their shows…?
well this sucks

That sounds about right, unfortunately.
