Listening to podcast #168 got me wondering what their Shepard’s looked like. Here is how it works, post a picture or two of your Shepard, what his/her first name was, and what class he/she was. I’ll start.
Lisa Shepard - Vanguard
bah much easier for you PC players to do so! other than holding a camera up to my tv while I have my 360 on I have no idea how =P
Mine is a guy ( but after Chuck’s speach about it being better to look at a chicks butt for the whole game… I am change it.)
My guy looks like Joe Dirt’s real dad. I forget the actor’s name… and I am not going to IMDB over it. But that’s who he looks like.
my chick character is the one I got to 60 but the 4 other play throughs I did were guys, the first couple I tried to make look like me in a rugged war veteran kind of way, the last couple I just randomed it up a bit

This is great, Mass Effect has such a great character creation system that it will be interesting to see what everyone has come up with.
This is my first character on the 360 and the one I think about when I think of Shepard.

Wow – first of all, kudos on the Vanguard. I’m one as well. 
I’ll totally get my digicam out this week and take a pic of Remo Shepard. (But as I’ve said before, think Remo Williams. )
This is my second on the 360 and my Renegade character.
Love the look of this one. I am just starting my second play through, and I am trying to be much more of a renegade the second time through as well. This time I am being a male soldier, so I can do some sniping.
Vangaurd was a lot of fun, especially if you like shotguns. (And who doesn’t?)
I’m not in a position to get an easy screen shot. But my first charachter is Mark Shepard :D. I went with a soldier. I figured all problems can be solved with superior fire power.
I have got very attached to the pistol. Most of my playtime has been as the Vanguard or Adept. I always grab Liara and Tali as my crew. I load Tali up on the tech abilities and Liara with biotics.
Nice!!! Maybe in ME2 they will add the option for sunglasses or jewelery. Also, a multiplayer mode would be cool where you could face off against friends (maybe Capture-the-Flag). Then we could see Remo vs Romo. 
Believe me if there had have been sunglasses and a blue longcoat, I would have used them.
Wow…I appear to be a double loser. Not only did I play a guy, but I played the out of the box Shepard. I heard Chuck’s rant about staring at female booty, but it didn’t really strike me until I saw Uchiha’s female Shepards…seriously, I think I fell a little in love over one of them.
You are helping to feed into the stereotype that all us men are just eye candy. Ever since the female dominated video game industry started in the early 80’s they have been shoving male behinds down our throats. I am an equal opportunity objectifier 
so I have many years of female rear to look at just to catch up.
I have always agreed and that it is well worth it (if you have the option, which ME provides) to spend the time to customize your character. I was glad Sean mentioned that it could take a couple hours to get it just the way you want. On Guild Wars I have spent as long picking out names. If you are going to spend 50+ hour personalizing the character with your personality than why not a small fraction on the physical.

My first: Ripley Shepard. Colonist/Sole Survivor/Vanguard
I suppose I should have named her Ellen, but Ripley sounded more fun. Though lately I’ve been thinking of starting over with her and really trying to make her look like Ripley.
My second: Ava Shepard. Spacer/War Hero/Soldier
Sometime while playing Ripley, I remembered that my true love (character class-wise) in all Bioware games I’ve played to date is the straight up, “good” soldier.

My wife and I are only partway through Mass Effect I, and our Shepard is also female: “Serena Shepard,” a Vanguard. We also went for a brown-haired, loose hair-bun hair style, with a fair complexion and a few minor facial scars (she looks tougher that way)!
Serena is a Colonist/Sole Survivor of her group. I had the most input on the naming of our Shepard, and decided that I wanted to go the same initials route, a la Lois Lane!
Thanks to Chuck, Sean and Audra’s pro-Mass Effect comments on a recent podcast episode, my wife let me twist her arm to purchase a new Xbox 360 with Mass Effect I and a selection of highly-rated 360 games to go with it! Right at this very moment, I am downstairs typing this message into the GWC Forums as my wife is taking character items and upgrades inventory…
