Yeah, and this is where he lost me.
She came back to save his life, and he shanks her? WTF?

I lvoe that moment where you think Riddik actually killed her.
No he didnt dude. The creature got her. Thats why he screams Not for Me
But they had light. Why would the creature come for her?
It got her from behind…hehe. The light was between her and Riddik. And it was from a distance using its tail as a whip.
I never really thot it was that clear. He made her say that she would die for them, and then she does. I’d always assumed that he stabbed her and pushed her away from the light.
I always thot he was going to go back out and try and find her alive. But alas, he was just getting a little revenge.
So the when i saw this in the theatre it was a time when i was without a car. I went to a late screening of it on my bike. When i rode home sections of the journey were thru fairly dark sections. let me tell you that was a fast ride.
I actually never thot it was anything but one of the creatures grabbing/shanking her and pulling her away. Guess I had more faith in Riddick’s character. :D:eek:
LOL, wow, that’s brutal!
i think he respected her survival instincts to much to kill her. I think you are supposed to initially think he killed her but i don’t think he actually did.
Oh it was also on the edge of the Ghetto. But that part didnt scare me i was used to it by then.
On top of all the other awesomeness of the movie. The menu design on the DVD is really pretty sweet.
Perhaps it’s like a cicada, whereas it has an above ground life-cycle, (during the dark times) then burrows underground or re-uses the underground tunnels of its predecessors until the light goes away again. Sorta.
Good movie, folks. Have we done a Chronicles of Riddick frak?? Because now I’m psyched for one.
Holy Crap. Vin Diesel has a Twin Brother
G’Nite Frakkers.
Next week.
Twin Diesel!
Diesle Sandwich!!! I figure you’d like that
G’night kids
Well, you would just need to know where Earth is at that point.
Amen, bruther! Amen.
There’s a crossover I would love to see.
giggle
I love when a movie does that. You leave the theatre and it stays with you. My first experience with that was when I saw Poltergeist. The fact that there was a thunderstorm the same evening helped a little. I didn’t sleep that night.
