Photography - Project 365

Hay you are cheating. The subject is so cute you can not go wrong.

Fantastic!

I got to get caught up on posting pictures.

Latest pics.

This is from yesterday

This is the sunset yesterday as seen from my front porch.

And today’s…

This bench is outside the side entrance to my office building. Today it is blocked off with yellow “Caution” tape and the only apparent reason is this pink glove sitting on the bench.

Love that.

It IS the pink glove. /python

OK… so I am late in the game, but I joined the pool, and added the pics from my set, which i started on the 3rd. Here is my flickr stream feel free to add me , I added whomever I saw in the thread.

For January 12th, since I forgot. :o

The fishbowl I live in 8-9 hours a day.

And for today, January 13th.

The view of the back of the state capitol building from the front of my building.

January 13

I know not a pic a day but I am working on it! This is my attempt to take a picture of the moon!

Hmm funny that looks like my fishbowl I work in…

But I like the pic no glare on the glass very nice!

This is probably my favorite one yet:

My whole yard is full of clear ice, its pretty cool.

13 and 14 January 2009

Old sign from the local airport my grandfather (a WW II pilot) used to take me to when I was a young lad.

Vermont. It’s well below 0F today. Joy.

Today’s photo

This is the sunrise as seen from my office building this morning. I work at the Atlanta airport and an early-morning flight can be seen arriving.

Very nice. I tried a couple of moon shots last month when the Moon, Jupiter and Venus were all together and never got them to come out. What size lens are you using?

Guys, FYI I am going to transplant some posts from this thread over into the “Simple rules for taking better pictures” so this thread can primarily focus on the photos in the project and the other thread can focus on the art, tips, tricks and techniques of photography.

There you go again moving my posts.

I used a 55-250 Canon EOS Lens… I only have 2 lens my other one is the 18-55, but i wanted a closer moon picture so I used my 55-250. Still trying to figure out the lighting… Also ur picture for the morning was very nice sunrise. I like how the sunrise colors make the buildings look faded and your eyes are drawn to the colors.

I had to add my Dog to all the Pics… Not the shot I was going for he moved at the last minute.

Interesting color, it almost looks like a penny at first glance.

yea the color is odd! still need to figure out lighting with that kinda shot. plus I am not really using the right lens but who has the money for those amazing zoom lens!

15 January

Get a haircut! My mother has severe asthma which is getting worse as she gets older, so I help her out in the winter on the farm.

It might not have come out quite the way you expected, but it is still a very good photo. Like I said, I like the effect the color and size give.
