I used this in the other thread but… I can almost touch it. Nicely done.

Thanks! The lighting they have for it makes a lot of picture angles a pain in the behind… but that doesn’t mean that I didn’t take a gazillion of every angle I could figure out without a lens glare, lol.

And for those interested - the Enterprise is NOT easy to find, I asked directions at the front desk at the Air and Space Museum. Go into the store, take the escalator down to the basement level, and head straight to the back.

Yeah. I believe Sean mentioned that on one of the 'cast. Sacrilege!! Well in 200 years when they finally build it in Riverside, it’ll get its due.

This is why the next great GWC heist needs to be that ship model! lol

June 1

So I’m considering doing a light and shadow challenge (series?) sometime this month, would any other photographers(-in-training!) like to participate? If so, we can figure out when to start it, and what (if any) parameters we want to impose.

I might. I have never done anything like that before though, so you’ll have to explain exactly how it works.

basically, those of us interested in participating (right now, that would be you and me) decide what the parameters would be - I’m inclined to interpret “light and shadow” as photographs that in some way are focused on the play between light and shadow, but I’m open to other interpretations - and for how long we would do the challenge. Say, 7 days. Then we pick a start date, and off we go!

(This is a more organized version of my Institutionality series or my Sign series. I think it’s more like (was it Lucky who proposed it?) the black and white challenge back in January or February)

It has been two months since I have posted—school work has kept me busy—but I think I am going to give this another shot.
Today’s pic: Reflections

That’s a beautiful pic, Lucky. And a beautiful spot, by the looks.

Makes me want a kayak.

Just a few cool ones from the last few days:

Nicely done guys.

Thanks Topgun! The last two days’ pics:

Flames (the fire has burned out):

This flower is smaller than a penny, so I am pretty impressed with how the shot came out. I have trouble with these close ups.

Dandelion

Back of my truck on fishing expedition, aka “the gypsy wagon.”

chilling at a friends house after a photoshoot. His dog was also chilling

That is priceless!

That’s awesome.

thanks guys!
