At Pike’s Place Market today, there was Seattle Cheese Festival. I took a couple photos just to show you around my hood:
The very first Starbucks store in the country. It’s become a huge tourist spot… but they actually do very good coffee, and they pull excellent shots. For a Starbucks.

I went to my favorite Cuban joint last night to pick up dinner. It’s called Paseo.
Inside. This could go with Casilda’s Signage series. Because, clearly, nothing says “Cash Only” like a monkey humping a giant banana.
And this is what I got. Grilled “fish of the day” sandwich with sauteed onion and spicy sauce. Delicious.
You are NOT helping my diet at all with these.
(but nice nonetheless)

Ahh, but I remember the good old days of burgers, fries & shakes. Enjoy. 
I keep missing some of the most fantastic birds. I have had my photo time limited. I only have a few more weeks of work and then back to the camera. You folks have been doing a fantastic job.
